So can we start talking about firing MOS yet?

Straight forward. This guy is low IQ and prob the worst coach in the league.

Saying MOS is of low IQ is an absurd thing to say.

  • O'shea is a good coach hate to lose him. Lapolice can GTFO any time though.

  • It's an issue with the play calling. It's terrible. Lapo is far worse than Hall at this point in the season. Halls defense deserved to win the last 2 game for sure and I'd argue they did enough in Cal

To put it on the President is tinfoil hat horse ****

You can run at far down the list as you like...GM,  HC, OC, DC.....Player Personnel.......they all can own a piece of this pie.

Once again the defence kept us in the game but the offence let us down once again.  Too many stalled drives in the red zone and of course the turnovers.

This is 2 games in a row where the defence has played good enough to win. But no support at all from the offence.

Prob about 3rd or 4th in a row now.

Do they really look that good?  They barely won today and their offense looks like shite.   O'Shea's team looked better the last 2 seasons then what Riders look like now.

How do they get sacks and pressure rushing 3 against our 5 and still get to our QB? Roosevelt had a good game as did their running back.

And may I ask what inside information you have?

Unnamed sources in the White House....sorry I don’t throw people under that bus.

Oh ok.. Cuz what i see on the football field is a QB who is mentally done and an OC who is predictable.

But ok.. Let's go after guys who dont play on the field.. Im guessing the last 2 seasons you were praising them all then or is it cuz losing u **** on ppl who play very little roles on the field

Players play.. Our QB has sucked.

Bottom line.. CFL is a QB driven League.. Ours has sucked. Im not shocked we aren't good right now cuz it truly all starts and ends with the QB.

Cuz Hughes and Jefferson are very good.

Matt Nichols tried to be Mike Reilly this year and accidentally turned himself into Drew Willy.

IF this coaching staff is in tact for Montreal, and thats a big 'if', Lapo needs to work with Streveler and get him up to speed/design plays for his skills...

Nichols is done - crossover is still there but get Streveler on a roll...  Nichols should not start another game

Sad thing is that our garbage offence is taking all the spotlight off Richie Hall's garbage second half D

Why dont u ask the OC who we have fired 2 x already

I'd rather ask the guy who's responsible for the OC who we have fired 2 x already, Mike O'Shea. You're wrong if you think O'Shea isn't also responsible for that O.

Are you new to the CFL? Here.. Ill help you..

Teams with QBs = good

Teams without = bad.

Not new actually.....and....it was Hall’s fault and the defence for weeks....now it’s the OC and QBs fault.....it is a complicated game with numerous moving parts that all need to work in unison.

Because Neufeld as a guard is OK, but as a tackle he is in over his head. Jefferson ate his lunch all game long.

Lol. 25 ish  rider points off turnovers.. 6 FGs.. Pick 6 by us.. What more u want from the D? Nichols gave the riders 17 points on his own

Except of course that the QB isn't responsible for pulling himself when he sucks, the head coach is. You can't blame everything on the QB and let the HC off the hook. MOS is the one who has left him in there loss after loss after loss after loss.

He pulled him this week. You cant change the past so i prefer not to talk about 3 weeks ago cuz its irrelevant to today. Who is to say pulling him 3 weeks ago makes a difference tho? Option 2 is a rookie.. A rookie whose strengths are being ignored by our idiot OC.

So MOS pulled Nichols and put in Chris "The Saviour" Streveler.   He gets 1 TD but again he has 3 possessions inside of 3 minutes to go and came up with nothing.  He had the game in his hands but the result was the same.

Running Nichols playbook.

Streveler came into the game with a discouraged team and had stats pretty much identical to Nichols but gave no points to the Riders. Moreover, he was probably directed to stay in the pocket rather than roll out or run the ball.

I want to see what kind of plays they design for Streveller two weeks from now before I cast shade on lapo.  And even if Streve struggles against Montreal, how much blame can you fairly assign to Paul anyways?  Strev is pretty inexperienced and will make his fair share of mistakes.

Spin it any way you want but I'm dealing with facts vs. assumptions.

Fact: Streveler is much more effective when he is mobile, so why would he voluntarily stay in the pocket?

Sure, why not waste another year with O'Shea? He needs time.  We need stability.

True this. It only took him until season 3 before he stopped making rookie mistakes.

Your inability to assign any blame for this mess onto MOS is telling. He's the head coach. He's responsible for the OC and by extension, the QB. You can't defend him by blaming them and them only. MOS owns them both. It's his team. Ask him.

The kid gets 1/2 a game and you're pinning it on him? Wow.

More than 2.

It'll be the same kind of plays they always use. This isn't Lapos first time running an offense in the CFL, it's not even his first time in this city, this is go #3 in Winnipeg for Lapo and it's the same **** he was running in 2002, except without Milt Stegall to make it work better.

Lapo won't turn Streveler into the next great qb, we need to fire Lapo to take that step.
