Sounds like Mason gets the start 

I figured he'd start in Philly.  But they probably want to follow up his Moose game rather quickly and get him back at full speed.  Helle's quest for the new Franchise Wins record will have to wait one more game...

I think they need to give Helle some rest and dont kill him b4 the playoffs start so im more than ok with Mason starting. 

It's pretty obvious Jets have zero confidence in Hutch... So im glad Mason is back since it likely means more games off for Helle. 

Hutch has done a little better this year but I don't see him sticking around either

Coming from a non-goalie expert that I am,  does his recent play with us (albeit a small sample) and his play in the AHL this year, warrant that?

Glad you're back too.

I'd assume they would play Mason since he will be with the team next season and he is making million more per year then Hutch....

I think it's more about having Mason healthy and getting him in some games sooner than later. Hutchinson played well in his two games with the Jets but the writing was on the wall once Mason was activated from the IR.

Not sure about anyone else, but I was secretly hoping Mason (and his large contract)  got traded to Philly when they were desperate for a goalie, and we kept Hutch as the back-up. Will need that money for Laine, Morrissey and Trouba.
