Goalie Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 After reflecting on the tremendous possibilities of trump inviting a Canadian team to Washington only to be turned down, I want the Jays to win. Badly. But hot girls still wear more LA hats. You’ll see game 3 FrostyWinnipeg 1
Goalie Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 (edited) Unfortunately I think after losing in 18 innings last night/ early this morning, the jays are done. Ohtani might be the greatest baseball player of all time also. Dude is seriously ridiculous. I think he’s easily top 3. I think the case can be made that he’s the goat cuz guys weren’t throwing 100 mph in the babe joltin joe or hammering hanks eras. Edited October 28 by Goalie
iHeart Posted October 29 Report Posted October 29 well one things for sure people that watched the Jays game today will sleep alot better than they did last night....or should I say this morning

Any pitcher can let a slider hang...he did and the Jays have not looked back.
Goalie Posted October 29 Report Posted October 29 Took a moment but jays finally finish it off. 2 2 now.
bigg jay Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Not a good day for Blue teams. HardCoreBlue and Noeller 1 1

Noeller Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Just like the Bombers... Winnable game. Stepped on their own dicks too many times. HardCoreBlue and Super Duper Negatron 1 1
bustamente Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 Yamamoto is a hell of a pitcher, I guess they have Ohtani to thank for him, as for the Jays you will see a vastly different pitching staff next year and I think Bitchette has played his last game for them.

As a bandwagon observer that was a hell of a fun series to watch. But I was transported back immediately to past Grey Cups, especially 2022 and 2023. I know exactly how long that will take Jays fans to get over. It sucks. Blue Jays had every opportunity to win that game 5 or 6 times and just couldn't get it done.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 2 Author Report Posted November 2 Well at least a team that spent over 200 million won the World Series for once 🫤

This just proves that Toronto is the city of chokers. I’ve never seen more teams blow leads than a Toronto one does. Something in the air or water there. We need a west coast team to cheer for. Bubba Zanetti Posted November 3 Report Posted November 3 (edited) This play right here. Bottom of the 9th. No way Kiner-Falefa should be this close to the 3rd base bag, yet he is basically on the bag. I understand not wanting to get doubled up on a hard hit ball caught by an infielder, but even if he is just a couple more feet down the line the Jays win it. Look at the Jay on 2nd. On top of that he hesitates just a bit on contact and does a little hop. The bases are loaded, the f'ing millisecond there is contact you are sprinting for home with your head down. Just all around brutal baserunning and awareness. Cost them a championship. Edited November 3 by Bubba Zanetti

I was texting my niece in Toronto whose husband & son wer watching the game They were going crazy with stress. When that HR happened, I texed, "Wow. Sorry, that's crushing. Been there. Done that. I know how you feel". And I did. The past 3 years. Edited November 3 by SpeedFlex27 Super Duper Negatron 1

It also brought back a childhood memory where Rick Monday, ironically from the Dodgers, hit a ninth inning homerun to beat my Expos in five games in the National League Championship. Crushing.

It’s not the air. It’s not the water. It’s the lack of hot chicks wearing Blue Jays hats. This theory has yet to be disproven.
