Ok, huge shout out to the Goldeyes organization. I expressed that we could no longer use our tickets tonight due to a positive COVID test in our household, and they exchanged them for another date. No

The problem with Montreal's stadium is they started to replace the roof so the stadium is out of use for approx 3 years.

Baseball sucks. Burn it down.

Might be some big changes in store for our team in the near future, getting swept was an eye opener and moves need to be made.

Can’t rely on just homers to win games. Those strikeout totals against them were ridiculous.

The fish weren't swept they won Game 1

This could be huge

Huge in what way?

Mattingly, Yankee legend and all around fantastic human, has never been able to find sustained success as a Manager.

What the Blue Jays need is more discipline and adults running the locker room. I don't think adding Don helps the Jays get that.

He has trouble respecting authority himself from what I’ve heard.

and that's kind of the problem the first thing I thought of was the Simpsons (I mean how big were these players when Homer at Bat aired because I highly doubt they drew random names out of a hat)

BJ's improving every year. Dunno why they need new help.

They're current bench coach, promoted on an interim, is going back to manage the AAA team. They needed a new bench coach.

Also, last year was a step back.

They definitely need an adult in that room.... way too many kids running the daycare and it showed come playoff time. Less home run jackets and goofing around in the dugout and more professionalism, is what Mattingly will at least TRY to bring to the team. Having fun is important, but I think they need an adult to balance things out.

That's a bit of a risky contact only because of his age, but the Yankees could never let him go

And this is why it's so easy to hate the Yankees.

Hate all you want you can’t blame for retaining their own player who they drafted

Why?

They drafted and developed a player.

I'd rather they spend the money on the players, rather than put it in their pockets*.

* See Toronto Blue Jays.

One.

They usually sign the ones that everyone else drafts and develops.

Give me a break. This is just lazy.

Their starting line-up is made up mostly of players that they drafted or traded for. They don't sign many free agents.

Now, do the Blue Jays.

You're not going to convince me not to hate the Yankees.

That's fine but at least hate them for the right reasons, like their 27 championships.

Jays fans are always sour this time of the year because TSN and SN tells them they are in on all the free agents and rarely do they get them

Same goes with the Leafs and Raptors

For the record, I saw Judge hit #43 live at Yankee stadium on August 1.
