Mason let 2 bad ones in and has been out of place several times.  He wasn't terrible... was not sharp at all either.  Very Pavelec like. 

The team has definitely played like Turds in the 3rd.   The 4th line seems to be the only line not struggling to clear the puck out. 

armia may have finished it off 7-4 jets, 7 might as well be the jets lucky number

If the teams plays tighter in the defensive zone, neither of those goals likely happen.

Mason was good. Had no chance on 3. 

 

Jets play a real team on Friday.

Fun fact: last time the Jets swept the Sabres, they made the playoffs.

No doubts,  Buffalo hustled but games like this make me uneasy for the play offs.  

I was impressed with Roslovic and the 4th line,  same goes with Copp.    

The only guys that looked off from my eyes was Laine and Wheeler seemed gassed again.

Well technically so did the other 15 teams.

Laines best game in a while. Ehlers really good. PLE was flying tonight. Funny how Roslo looks good with Hendricks but Petan didnt. Matthias should probably sit soon. 

Solid road game. Couple bad breaks in the 3rd made the game appear closer than it was.

If they get a trade for Kane... the guy has cooled off over the last few weeks and the ask seems really high.

There pretty well forced to trade Kane, being a Ufa they won't want to pay what he wants and he probably doesn't want to resign there, Buffalo will take whatever they can get at the deadline.

Yup.  Thats the only reason the trade happened because they gave up assets and got back a really good player in Kane who was injured and thus, could not help them win.

and this trade just keeps on giving - we have a draft pick in 2018 that we got from Boston for Stafford.

That's thought to be the trade that got Dallas two or three superbowl wins.

That first Buffalo goal was hard to watch and shouldn't have happened.  I think that if a player is so tired they become a zombie, like Wheeler was on that goal, they'd be better off heading to the bench than taking a penalty.  Those kind of goals can't happen in the playoffs, they will kill you.
