NHL Injury Watch 2017/18 season

and from looking at the other thread, I have learned that our team is quite injury prone

Guess I'll start with Armia being out for awhile.

Scheif on the ice this morning. Kulikov puts on the contact jersey.

As good as the Jets are right now, the idea of adding at the deadline is one thing but getting Trouba and Lowry back would essentially be the two best "additions" they could make this time of year.

Money well spent considering he was a big part of a solid D corp that helped get the team where it is now.  If he has a long term injury, they can move the money to LTIR moving forward and insurance k

Interesting. They went all out spending big in advertising. I wondered what their cash flow was like and if they would ever make money.

Yeah must have been a terrible business plan because they had excellent adoption by users.

yeah but I pointed out that I don't know if Canada will be effected

You roll the dice signing peeps with back problems. Craps.

That is bad news - kulikov played well for much of this season, really liked the Myers-kulikov pairing

would like to see buff-Chiarot and Myers-morrow/enstrom

That's a massive loss on the blue line. ******' hell.

Oh well, on to Chiarot whose having his best year since his first and my man Joe Morrow :D

Chairots last month of hockey has been outstanding. His physical play will be a big asset in a playoff series.

I'd love to see Chiarot-Buff pairing through the playoffs regardless of injuries...  much better match than Enstrom imo

Chiarot is playing very well. But man. That’s a tough loss.

What the heck happened to trouba

Likely concussion.

Interesting, because statistically, Enstrom is a better dman and the Jets are better with him in the line-up.

But we all see him get washed out and manhandled in the corners...  I think two big bruising D are better for the playoffs... that is if trouba is back...

Yes, but the analytics still say he's better.

He got rocked by Benn and went all newborn calf legs there. That was a scary sight and I don't expect to see him back until late March.

Bishop out for a while: https://www.tsn.ca/stars-g-bishop-out-at-least-two-weeks-1.1031030

BIshop out and STL on the comeback trail. Too little too late for 3rd in central but wild card possible now.

Except this year they don't.

Yes, they do. Enstrom is better statistically (Corsi and Fenwick) than Chiarot is this year.

50 vs 51.2 - this is really no difference...  especially when you consider Chiarot has twice as many points and Chiarot's PDO is marginally better

Basically, I'm saying their fancy stats are very similar this year - the difference I see is that Chiarot shoots more and plays a heavier game...  this is important in the playoffs

My ultimate third pairing would be Myers-Enstrom, I think they work well together

My least favorite pairing.
