Good summary. I get the feeling the 2nd unit D was playing harder because they are fighting for jobs, even as backups - much like Alexander was with the first unit. It's really tough to gauge the starters when it's preseason, especially when the play calling isn't all out. BUT I expected a little better from our starting D all the same

Three LB's get four tackles?  Not cool. I know this was a pre-season game but man we still have not realized penalties are not supposed to be the highlights of the game. 

On the positive side, the offence did sound good. 

I get... that lineups play calls, systems et al. are not all in place yet.  But don't know of any CFL rule that says you can't just beat somebody off the line and get some pressure on the opposing QB.

Maybe it's just me and a skewed memory...   it seems like the moment Richard Harris passed away...  our d-line went from a consistent threat to mediocrity....
