Petan definitely gets traded this year. Not sure for what though.  Draft picks?  A prospect?

Prospect D man of similar ability. Petan needs to have a good year with the Moose to raise his value cuz right now he probably has very little. 

I really enjoy Petans game, his passing skills are phenomenal. It's obvious he will never get a full chance on the jets. I hope he gets an opportunity on a team that needs some offense. He's basically a top six or bust player but unfortunately he won't be that player for the Jets. 

Petan lacks the high end speed that players his size typically need to make the NHL.

Exactly this. Lacks the speed to playbin the top 6. Probably make a good 3rd line center for the Jets but really hasnt taken advantage of his opportunities when hes been given them.

Hes not... Hes just coming to the end of his ELC contract and decisions will have to be made.

He isnt worth much at the moment... 2nd rd pick... Hasnt done much. Not sure he's even worth a 2nd rd pick currently

I would keep him around.  What happens if Scheifele or Little get injured.... who is our centre in the top six?  Copp?  Perreault?  Lowry?  Or could Petan be the best option of all?  Let's also not forget that Little is a pending UFA after this season.  If he does not re-sign we will need someone to take his place and it would be nice if Petan could prove the doubters wrong and be that guy.

Cormier is a good veteran leader for the moose. That's it 

roslo is the answer. Hopefully. But I think little re-ups for another 2-3 years to make sure we get there.

His contract expires next summer. He turns 31 beginning of next year (2018). Yeah maybe 5 years but that would have to be a contract that includes a belief he's likely a 3rd line guy in the latter years. 

Little needs to have a good year if he wants a good contract.
