I know @mbrg pulled Columbus out of his ass but apparently Winnipeg and Columbus have been scouting each other quite a bit the last couple weeks. Stafford and Pavelec going there might make some sense

Flames win a fourth consecutive game, beating Hurricanes to move to 70 points. Even in games played now with Jets at 63. 19 GP to go.

I termed it butt-pulling mostly because of the 3rd rounder in 2018 part.  After all, I am a TSN insider.  Shhh, don't tell.

I wasn't about to go thru 29 teams and figure out all the possible love connections.  Just that there are circumstances for both parties that potentially make a good fit in this case, but it's one of probably thirty team/goalie combos that could be reasonably argued.

Well it's a great game to remind chevy the jets should be sellers just in case he was thinking of doing something dumb. 

Not that they have any big pieces to sell. But get what you can.

St Louis still has three games in hand... plays Avs FOUR more times, Arizona THREE more times, Jets twice and then La/Cal/Van once each 

St Louis sucks tho.  Crappy goaltending and can't score. They are overrated. Hitch Shattenkirk gone. They are in a nose dive right now

Before the game jets had a  3% chance of making it or something like that. 13-4 is what they need to do. Jets won't make the playoffs.

Hutton looked pretty good from what I saw...  guess we'll see what they do against the Avs tomorrow
