Game Story : Jets won a game so start the parade.

Bear Vancouver twice which they should cuz Vancouver sucks and jets will be in the wild card race heading in to the Xmas break.

Laine is a sniper and Scheifele may be the next captain and Helle REALLY deserved a shutout and guys just bounce off of Buff but Ehlers is worth the price of admission.

This guy can score 40 goals every season if they start going in for him. He has the speed of Ivan Cournoyer and possibly better hands. For you younger guys, Cournoyer was nicknamed the roadrunner and was the fastest guy in the league for years. His rookie season was 64-65 and he went on to score more than 400 goals and almost 900 points. He is a hall of famer and I dare say that Ehlers has the potential to be better and I think that he will be! I gotta fess up and admit that I was hoping Chevy picked Ritchie because the Jets were a big, bruising team at that time and I thought Ritchie fit in better. God, it's a good thing I'm not running this team.

Absolutely hate that Helle didn't get the SO because he deserved it. Chiarot and Postma are no better in person but I thought Postma made way fewer mistakes. Chiarot is, at best, a 7D man.

I'm not bitching about the price of beer at a game because Winnipeg went without an NHL team for way too long but I can remember bitching when beer went up to $3.50 at the Jets' games!!!!!!!!!!!

Two big games in BC coming up that would be really, really nice to win before the break. It would even give me hope of possibly seeing them make the playoffs. 37 points in 36 games is really close to a playoff spot in the Western Conference this year and we have injured players about to come back. Dallas, Vancouver and Colorado aren't making the playoffs this year. If the Jets turn it on now with a more relaxed schedule, the playoffs are a possibly.

Wheeler is gonna retire a Jet probably so it won't be for a while. Wheeler is the perfect captain

If Thorbs sits when Armia gets back, who sits when Matthias gets back? What about when Petan gets back?

Petan to the Moose.  Matthias dresses.  Dano back to the Moose (which I dislike) or Burmi goes to the Moose and has to clear waivers.  Stafford as the extra forward along with Thorbs.

Sometimes Ehlers skates around with the puck, weaving in and out and the other team is mesmerized, they all just stand there, watching him, they don't know where he's going, and they freeze. It's almost comical.

He is fun to watch.

Maurice was asked if Petan will go to the Moose when he is healthy and Maurice said he would be with the Jets. Management has some interesting decisions ahead of them.

Then I'd be pretty worried if I was Burmi and Stafford.  They cant keep all the players up.  Since they waived Pavs to the moose, I cant say I'd be too surprised if they tried the same with Stafford, only because he has the name value that they might get something for him in a trade, so....

But surely Armia and Matthias will play.  They could send Dano down but I like his game.

Somebody will bite on Stafford ...  it's best for the Jets to hang on to him and hope that the market is thin come trade deadline and that somebody will over pay.

All Petan does is perform and everyone is still ready to send him to the Moose...  its crazy, the guy's fancy stats say he drives the play better than Armia - actually better than most of the team.

Too small for NHL. This guy could have a pretty good career in Europe.

Its not about sending him down because he sucks.  Its about asset management.  He can be sent down without waivers.  He's played well in limited action and is now injured.  I'd send him down to play maximum minutes in an offensive situation.

Connor needs a playmaking centre now that his buddy is off at the US Junior Team. Petan would be a good fit.

This is pretty much what I mean... 

Same size as Perrault - better underlying numbers...  bigger than 'Johnny Hockey'

When he gets a chance, Petan proves he can play at NHL level...  and no one notices.
