Clinton got impeached for getting a BJ ffs.

well technically it was for lying about the BJ, but christ if lying is what it takes to impeach a president then Trump is in a world of hurt.

They absolutely have to start the impeachment process, even if the senate plays silly buggers with it they need to drag everything out in the open in the inquiry and then deal with the senate problems after that.

They aren't "perceived" problems they are real. Baltimore like many long time controlled Democrat cities in Democratic states take in billions in aid and incentives yet the cities deteriorate and politicians mysteriously get wealthier than when they entered.

Seems kinda newsy, yet journalists maintain embargo on criticism of prominent black Democrats then suddenly leap to action and cry "racism" to defend them even when black constituents are worse off because of it all.

Talk about "racist". Talk about "caving to political base".

Mar a lago has the same problems. These problems exist in every major city in the U.S. and Canada BTW. It's not Baltimore exclusive just like Meth isn't a a Winnipeg exclusive problem.

Exactly.  So instead of crying "racism" to defend the preferred political party the media should be investigating where all the money goes and holding politicians responsible accountable . Punching up, truth to power. ..the stuff they claim to believe in.

And if the government in power really cares about the plight of urban poor blacks the situation should be even more urgent, again, instead of trying to paint critics as racist for pointing out the obvious.

People in power aren't doing their jobs, corruption rampant,  trying to manufacture a racism angle won't solve a single thing for the people who have to live there

trump's tweets of criticism of Baltimore is 100% racist.

trump's bitchy tweets of  "the squad" are racist.

trump is a racist.

There is no manufacturing here- it is what it is: racist bullying because he feels threatened by these people.

If it's racist to break the taboo and criticize a black politicIan not doing his job and criticize his party for letting let their constituents  live in squalor then yes, POTUS is a racist.

The less answers progressives have to genuine problems the more "racist" accusations are used as a default strategy, ...and it's not working anymore.

Oh please, "progressives" aren't as simple minded as to only be able to focus on one thing.

Fact is that Donald Trump has a long history of saying and doing racist things... so it is 100% fair to say the POTUS is a racist. It's actually quite indefensible.

This is pure bullshit. You have to ignore history, context, tone and ******* words to not see these as racist attacks.

Sure, some progressives pull the race card at times when it isn't warranted- I will absolutely concede that. This- is not one of those times. He is playing identity politics, sowing division, attacking those that pose a threat to him and distracting from the big picture- accomplishing it all with racism.

I'd listen to american progressives more if they presented realistic plans to solve problems. Zero plans to tackle illegal immigration and border crisis and inner city squalor .....

apart from 60s vintage thinking of raising taxes, throwing money at things and handing out jobs based on race and gender and attacking the critics as racist or sexist when plans don't work.

It's not racist to point out squalor and criticize the people in power for letting it happen. Crying racism is not an answer. It's what one cries when they have no answers.

You are not wrong about that if you are judging that in a vacuum. But given the history, situation, language, tone, and context of this situation- it's 100% pure racist.

Pointing out racism is an answer, when someone is acting ******* racist.

Just because you disagree with the plans doesn't mean they don't have them and that they don't work...

Didn't all the stats show illegal immigration was becoming less and less of a problem? Except of course for the feeling of the right wing... See that's the problem right now, "conservatives" don't use facts or logic, only their feelings, and it just happens that a lot of their feelings are that people of different colour having equality is bad.

If more people in power called out people in power like Cummings for betraying their constituents urban blacks might not have to live in rats and garbage.

So far cashing the cheques,  ignoring it or defending it keeps them living like that.

And that is genuine racism.

Tax and spend and expanding size of government has failed american blacks. All hallmarks of progressivism. Even with blacks in direct political positions of power.

All the hollering of racism doesn't change the fact the system is broken.

and trickle down economics and corporate welfare don't help anyone either.

It's not hollering racism, it's calling racists racist. No one thinks the system doesn't work because racism, they just think that racists need to be called racists.

Have never and would never defend a politician or party if their sole plan is simply cutting taxes for corporations or the wealthy and opening borders for cheap labour so they can get even richer.

Irony is big business has now signed to most woke identity politics. Funny, they used to be the bogey men for the left and now they're "partners"  in progressivism.

But you support Trump and the Republicans whose whole plan is cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations and suppress worker wages and rights so they can get even richer...

I think you may need to reassess your identity politics, cause you appear to be talking out of both sides of your mouth here.

I "support" Trump when he attempts to change corrupt political culture in the US and hope it spreads. He's been a mixed bag at this, at best.

Took on illegal immigration, sort of, but big corporate parasites and foreign policy warmongers are still comfortable which is a failure.
