The rules these days are all effed up. A receiver or running back can get a helmet shot with no penalty & at times they are just as vulnerable as a qb. That RTP on Willis was bogus. No intent to injure. Willis didn't lead with his helmet. Clean hit but a cheap penalty. Then there's the PI rules, incidental contact & coaches challenges. To me, the rule changes the last 3 seasons have really messed up the game.

meh, Jennings is 24 years old, im jealous the Lions are set at QB for the next 10-15 years

Jury's out... i think he'll make better decisions but he cost the Lions 2 wins. Tonight & earlier this season vs the Stamps with 2 picks late in the game. Qbs who don't learn don't last long.

You're talking about the QB with the most game-winning drives in the CFL this season.  Can't expect the kid to carry his team to victory every single week.

now that the Lions lose to a below .500 team, are we going to discuss if the Lions are 'For Real'?

They are and will be inconsistent, at least for this season. The type of experience Jennings needs isn't going to be found outside of live-fire games. But they do look to be beatable, especially to a ball-hawking defense like the Bombers. Jennings' inexperience leads him into trying to force the ball.

You don't make questionable throws under duress when your team has the lead late in the game which is what he's done.
