I think he has a real good chance at making the team out of camp. Think him and Connor and Morrissey make it. 

Exactly how I feel.  If two players grade out equally - something I am not in a position to assess with these two - then 10 times out of 10 I'm taking the player with the rarer skill set.
The Jets are in a position to assess them, and I'm guessing they don't have them as a tie.

Under Gary Bettman, league revenue quintupled.  And TV revenue and corporate sponsorship increased significantly.  Player salaries also increased so his time has been good for them too.  In a world of escalating salaries, however, he brought cost certainty in the form of a salary cap the PA said would never happen.
 
He actually pushed for the currency stablization fund and helped keep Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa in the league (despite those that would say all he wanted to do was move teams to the US).  His cost certainly policies, league revenue, cap etc allowed Minnesota and Winnipeg, two traditional hockey markets, to get their teams back.
 
League expanded to 30 teams from 26 under his watch, adding Nashville, Atlanta, Minnesota, Columbus, and relocated Winnipeg, Quebec and Hartford.  Only one of the expansion or relocated teams failed (Atlanta) and it could be taken as a compliment how hard Bettman has worked to keep the Coyotes in Arizona.
 
Southern Expansion as a whole gets hung on Bettman but of the teams he actually expanded or relocated, most are doing well and there have probably been more established or traditional franchises with issues then the ones he expanded/relocated to.
 
If creating a new sports league today, he's definitely on your shirtlist of Commissioners if you want to be successful.

Some Rumors suggested the Jets did have interest in a London Knight Forward for sure and would have taken him if he was still available, Apparently they really liked this guy lots but it wasn't Max Domi they were interested in, It was Bo Horvat.. I don't think the Jets would have taken Domi if he was still there, Horvat? Yup but Domi, nope. 
 
I think after Horvat was picked, Morrissey was the next guy they wanted...
 
Someone writing Morrissey off already? Hope that's not the case, lots of D men spend time in the AHL before coming to the NHL... if you need some examples, go check out the Predators roster.

I think Morrissey makes the Jets this year. 

It would surprise me only because I don't see the Jets as seeing their future being built on weakening the D to strengthen the O.  But if they have faith in Morrissey it would mean Toby/Buff & Morrissey/Myers as the top four and you can probably fill out the bottom two.

If try to trade Toby, hope Morrissey arrives and make your top four Trouba-Buff and Morrissey- Myers. 

Lemieux Lowry Dano is a perfect 4th line that can probably play 10 minutes a night. Not your average 4th line either. 

Any of the top 3 this year look like they will come in and make an immediate impact.  Having already played against pros will only help.  I'd expect a much better first year out of Laine than Ehlers.  He looks a lot more ready than Ehlers did.  I don't think a 50-60 point season with 20+ goals is out of the question.  Anything less would be disappointing, barring injury.  Is that a high expectation?  Yeah, of course it is.  That's what happens when you have a top pick.  That's why everyone celebrated when we won the draft lottery.  Because everyone expects an immediate impact and that's not unreasonable.

Its not like they had 6 rookies starting the season.  Petan was a mistake that most of us called.  Ehlers was ready to play.  Copp was a 4th liner who's minutes were managed.  Not every case is the same. 
If we drafted McDavid should we have sent him to the Moose "just because".  Some players are ready and some are not.  I think the over rippen thing was in regards to players that just arent ready yet.  Lowry had time to develop on the Moose.  Helle did.  Morrissey is.  Kossy is.  Armia did.  Chairot did.  I see no change in their philosophy other then, if a player is ready, he's ready.

Get drafted second overall and winning rookie of the year  Stanley Cup can come when he's 20.

The point of celebrities going public is to eventually make it a non-issue like it should be.  The fact that there are ZERO current or former NHL'ers that have come out proves that it's still doesn't have the acceptance level it needs to.

Yes and many gay people afraid to come out because of people like Goalie and Taynted.  Sad really.

There are many people who are gay and are not at all comfortable coming out because of the backlash and perceptions and hate that they would receive.  Just because you don't do it or don't see it happening, does not mean that gay people don't experience it or have anything to fear.
 
Are things getting better then they were?  Yes.  Are they perfect?  No.  
 
Like it or not, celebrities coming out help  being gay "accepted" by a larger portion or people, which in turn make people more comfortable leaving the life they want to without feeling the need to hide it.
