  1. Feel nothing but sympathy for him and the Lions. I hope it's something that he can still recover from and come back this season.
  2. Which is why the CBA will likely change this.
  3. Hasn't he said he's not coming back under the global tag? New CBA might change things to allow us to sign him at a raise, though.
  4. Exploiting the potential change to the hash marks. Gonna be big for teams who can do it.
  5. No denying it’s been a weakness, but I’m all for it turning around!
  6. This guy looks intriguing. Training Camp is gonna be a battle at receiver.
  7. I understand that, but QB was also a very different position at the time. Ploen did his thing very well in his era - Brock did his thing very well in the modern era. It's a QB debate - not a team one.
  8. It's hard because, despite being around for 80+ years, we haven't had many have sustained success as the position. Brock and Ploen are the 1 and 1a. Rank them how you want based on how you feel about numbers versus championships. Khari is my all time fav and #3. He's a Calvillio away from being the best QB in the league during his brief (but glorious) run with us. Jack Jacobs could be anywhere from 1 through 4 depending on what your criteria is. I think you can write Clements in pen at #5. None of the rest played enough time with us. I'll gladly put Collaros on the list if he plays two more lights out years (He's currently at 14 career games in Blue and Gold).
  9. He's a 28 year old PR player. Just a training camp body who maybe can find a role on ST if he looks really good.
  10. Yup. He just bangs it as hard as he can on every attempt. I don't have any interest.
  11. He's not, he just reports on it when he happens to hear something.
  12. I honestly miss the Canada Day opening weekend, but I understand why people wanted to move it up.
  13. But when he talks about changes, he doesn't give any reasons for why they should be considered.
  14. Honestly, he has no fracking clue what he's talking about.
  15. If it was I player I watched and loved, I’d absolutely pay that price for a game worn jersey.
  16. An NFL quality fantasy system would do so much [but is likely impossible because of the lack of teams/players]
  17. Don't know if I buy that, but the topic comes up naturally every now and then. There are certainly some teams and owners who think along these lines.
  18. On one hand, they're not doing their jobs if they don't explore options to grow the league. On the other, this is pretty universally hated amongst all fan bases and deserves a quick shut down when it's brought up by new entities.
  19. Oh, absolutely. And it's a ridiculous campaign from the Liberals - as absolutely no one would see this and associate it with their brand/candidate.
  20. Kind of hard to brand a letter.
  21. We build from our lines out. We ensured that we have those in place and the remaining positions took a back seat.
  22. Well, I think Jones and Battle are two full tiers above where Clements is. And I’m not capping Clements because of position, I don’t think he played well enough or long enough.
  23. Is there anyone from that time period who needs to be honoured?
