  1. 🤮 (That is a puking emoji for those that can't see. It both describes how I feel when I see green merchandise and accurately describes the colour of said merch).
  2. I want 600 yards of offence. It can be 500 for Zach and 100 for Brady. Or 400 for Zach and 200 for Brady, I’m not picky. But I want absolute destruction.
  3. I imagine that in the installation during the week, everyone agrees on the calls they're going to make in certain situations. Within each play, there will be options based on how the D lines up, and then Zach will go through his progressions based on what he sees.
  4. Now that we're relatively healthy, I don't take issue with any of our starters. The D has been excellent. I would just arrange the depth differently. And take McCrae off returns.
  5. Until the last couple of years, weren't they consistently one of the league leaders in attendance?
  6. You can make that argument, but that game came down to Brady's fumble and Zach's pick-6 in the final couple minutes - and then yeah, it put our D in a bad spot that they weren't able to cover. At the end of the day, our coach is making investments in ST at the detriment of defence. And I'd be fine with it if our ST was noticeable better than other teams and it gave us an edge, but that hasn't been true at all. Now, to take a "middle-ground", our D has been among the best in the league - if not the best - so you can believe we don't "need" additions. But it sure does help your players out late in games/seasons.
  7. I always navigate threads by clicking the "Next unread topic" button. So I always get a daily dose of #oldtakesexposed that I ignore because hindsight is 20/20. But this one was funny. 4 years later!
  8. If Edmonton was competitive and Calgary got the stadium that team deserved, the league average would jump by 10k.
  9. The point is, you can't dictate what others say. If we want to talk about the Bombers, and we're allowed to criticize (even though we're all incredibly happy with the Bombers), we can discuss anything we want. There can't be a caveat of, you can discuss things but only if you also add a disclaimer that says, "MOS is always right and I am always wrong".
  10. I don’t think it can bite us in a particular game, not in a way you could really notice we’re not going to notice guys running fractions of a second slower late in the game). I more worry about the cumulative affect over the course of a season.
  11. To hold the mirror back up to you, can we not be simultaneously happy with the results of this team for the past few years AND still talk about how we could do better/sustain the success? I mean, what’s the point of having the forum if we can’t?
  12. Nope. Thanks. So we now have 10 LB's. This is just ridiculous.
  13. Without a signing announcement, I’m guessing guys off of the 6-game.
  14. I've heard him ask the same questions. MOS answers the same way he always does. He either scoffs and denies or scoffs and gives a non-answer.
  15. Goevia taken interviews. If he gets a good opportunity, he's gone, imo. Though I don't think he walks into an unstable tire fire.
  16. That wasn't the reason, tho. Not the whole reason anyway. CFL teams can't be firing staffs every 2-3 years and paying them all out at the same time. Everyone suggesting that fired staffs shouldn't count towards the cap are missing a central point of the cap. To stop this overspending.
  17. If they "ran the show", it wouldn't have been put in in the first place. I'm sure we didn't want the cap, but a majority of teams must have approved of it to get it in place. 100% believe this. We'll have everyone through the Grey Cup year, at least.
  18. Obviously teams will throw more to that side of the field. Holm/Rose/Kramdi vs. Houston/Nichols/Wilson. Our secondary is amazing. This is nitpicky garbage at best.
  19. Knew what was coming? That a couple teams don't like the cap? This didn't happen without a majority. Ambrosie doesn't get to just make decisions that the teams don't want. Teams wanted the cap. And they don't want the cap to be cleared each year. Maybe they can negotiate a little relief, but this was a cost saving measure that the team owners want. I don't expect it to go anywhere.
  20. Sure, but how many of those plays need to be stacked up before we stop trying?
  21. I would have preferred keeping Pigrome over Prukop, not Brown.
