  1. Is there any way to answer that for any coach?
  2. You can never rule out incompetence.
  3. Isn't this like their third or fourth year with each other?
  4. Riders hold the Western play-offs spot. No one qualifies for the cross-over right now.
  5. They had to lose that game like three separate times. So frustrating.
  6. They wouldn’t sit Jeffcoat for that purpose.
  7. I don’t know about probable. It may be a sitting starters kind of game. Saturday evening game tho. So conditions will be good. Just not an on field draw.
  8. I would be shocked to see the Seal come off at this point.
  9. You think there are too many unwarranted personal attacks so you add in another one? To someone who wasn't even in the original quote? Peace and love, indeed...
  10. I feel like we have to be crushing last years numbers. We had a couple of duds last year due to weather and this year, the late season Argo game will provide a boost.
  11. You can argue the same for our side. Both teams will be relatively secure in their first place finish at the time of meeting. Knowing that the likeliest outcome is meeting each other in the Grey Cup, it might be a smart play to hide your play book to an extent. Save the plays you have drawn up to match against the opposite team. But, in the only match-up against the two top teams in the league, I think both teams will be pretty amped up to prove something.
  12. You're making up/assuming a whole bunch of things here. We went over the cap last year, so it's fair to say we're close to the cap. We certainly have no idea how much is allocated for injuries, so you can't pretend it's there to add to these "savings" we'll have available at the end of the year. As for the not replacing guys with vets, that dosn;t matter. If a guy making 100k (who received zero bonus money) is 6-gamed. That takes 33k of the cap right? The league minimum is 70k now? That means we're paying a league min. 23k for those 6 games for a saving of 10k off the cap. If this player had any up front cash at all, that might take away the savings or even end up costing us more. And what about the one-game? There is no cap saving there, right? So any time a player goes on the one-game, we're just handing out two game cheques for the player AND his replacement.
  13. They can give you an average range for most injuries, but no one knows how each individual is going to react. And teams/coaches players who have given out those ranges in the past are subsequently lambasted when it takes longer than they said it would, or if the player goes back earlier than expected and then is injured again. Simply put, there is zero upside for a team to give those details and lots of downside.
  14. But JJ's also never had a healthy season before. So, I'd say it's ado about somethin'
  15. Andrew was getting around 165k with us and Toronto, I think. Ideally, Brady doesn't drive us up to or past that,
  16. I obviously don't know how the deals are structured into different years' caps, but Kenny signed a 2 year deal and it was reported he'd make 265k in '23 and 300k in '24. And Schoen will obviously be somewhere in that same range next year.
  17. I just can't see a feasible way to drop 600k+ into two WRs. Especially with Demski in there too (who's also well paid).
  18. I don’t think anyone other than you is upset about that. DT included.
  19. Brady's gonna cost us a fortune next year (I'm sure he'll sign a reasonable deal with us and everything, but obviously needs a raise). With Schoen's new deal and Lawler getting a bump, it's going to take some slick deals by Walters to keep the group together.
