  1. Sure, but I'll never see it because it's in Hamilton.
  2. Media just living in the narrative that the MOP is a QB award. The only problem I have with your analysis, wbbfan, is that this is about who's the most outstanding, and your looking at each player's worst outings. You should be looking at their best outings. It's an outstanding award, not a consistency award. Zach leads the league in TDs (30); has 6 games over 300 yards; 4 games with more than 3 TDs. Vernon leads the league in yardage; has 9 games over 300 yards; 2 games over 400; and 6 games with more than 3 TDs; he also adds 300 rushing yards. Brady leads the league in rushing yards, yards from scrimmage, and is tied with Dalton for total TDs. He has led the league in rushing in 7 different weeks (No other player has done so more than twice). Dalton leads the league in receiving yards, and is tied with Brady for total TDs Keon Hatcher leads the league (by a lot) in yards per game. In a tight race with Dalton for the yardage title. Betts leads the league in sacks (15). Which is good but doesn't really throw him into the MOP race. Houston still leads the league in INTs and FR, which could have been interesting had he continued to pick up the take aways. But he faded down the stretch and is now injured.
  3. Big old shrug of the shoulders from me. I think the Bombers have already mentioned they've been in contact. So what other update do you want until he's ready to sign? Seems like he's donating this year to the NFL. I would expect him next season if and when no other NFL offers appear.
  4. Fine. I didn't want to play your stupid game anyway.
  5. I think if your QB (literally) throws the game away, it doesn't matter what your RB does. (Yes, Charlie should have played better).
  6. He has many excuses for why he cost us the game. It’s understandable why he cost us the game… ...but he cost us the game.
  7. 3 interceptions and a fumble.
  8. We're all in agreement on this. But if we're talking about what WILL happen, not what SHOULD happen, I expect Jackson to stay on the roster.
  9. I'm pretty sure we've had several games without an american back-up listed at DB And Cole and Clements have both been on and off the roster while Jackson remains. Not arguing with the concept, but we've seen this all before and it hasn't changed so I'm not expecting it to change now.
  10. Jackson was on with Grant healthy, so not sure how it would affect Jackson's status.
  11. I think we're at a point in our roster cycle where the vets need to be challenged and lose playing time if there is someone who is out performing them. But we heard Walters say it before this year even started: This group deserves the chance to run it back. So, instead of making personel changes, they're adapting the game plan to hide certain weaknesses. More protection in for Zach, Jefferson staying back and attempting to bat down passes rather than get to the QB, DBs playing at greater depth, because they're not expecting the pass rush to get through as fast.
  12. lack of time. We're also seeing more guys on the line than we used to. Less receivers on the field.
  13. They are not playing like it tonight.
  14. I’ve seen Lawler running free quite a bit. He’s not being looked at.
  15. I don’t think we’re too literal. You just make very black and white statements and then try to walk them back when people call you out on them.
  16. My most random is a gold Cory Watson from the period when we went with the gold home jerseys.
  17. And, you know, the racists.
  18. Fantastic song. One of my wife’s go-to karaoke songs.
  19. 100% agree. It’s the same argument with non-contact practices. If you never prepare your body for taking hits, how is it going to react to them in game scenarios? Chris Schultz (RIP) used to bring up rest vs. rust all the time when this scenario presented itself. I’ve always been an advocate of letting your players play.
  20. I personally thought it was BS when we did it and think it’s BS that the Argos are doing it now.
  21. We already have evidence that those things need to be fixed so if they continue to make the same mistakes, it certainly doesn't bode well for the future. I still believe we're going to come out firing on all cylinders for this one though.
  22. The league better not be, it's their damn fault.
  23. We're tied with the Lions and really need every win we can get. We really need to embody a win at all costs mentality right now, imo.
  24. Well, given that Toronto game, we'll see if he has made a real difference or if it was just a brief blip after a coaching change as we've seen many times before.
