I guess, why not give pall a look, bring him in, it can't hurt can it? Yeah he may not have looked good during stamps camp and hasn't done much , if anything since then with the als.. but... sometimes a change of scenery and a new lease on your football life can help, I'd bring him in for a look, a few weeks on the PR... what harm does it do? Not many Canadian DL out there actually.. We aren't exactly loaded with canadian depth, can pretend we are but we aren't, let's say jake thomas goes down... YUP. I'd bring him in for a look.

If you go back in history and look at the original colours of the rugby team from which the blue bombers formed, there colors were green and white. YUP. So that green jersey on twitter actually pays homage to our history as the rugby clubs colours were green and white for a long time.

The Als defence is not the issue, they are actually very very good. It's the offence that's been the problem.

If you read Mike's reply to my post (on page 9 I think) and read between the lines....it sounds like someone may have already been fired over these abominations. So Wade Miller fired Jeff Bannon because he approved these ugly jerseys? sounds like it's possible, seems unlikely it was just over a jersey though.

This makes me wonder how the folks at the top really feel about the jersey. It almost seems like they hate them but are making the most of it. Pure speculation but I wonder whether the departure of Jeffrey had anything to do with this. Just saying, no idea but i highly doubt bannon left just cuz of a jersey they will be wearing once or maximum twice. That seems pretty crazy, he probably got a better offer else for more money. Well, this topic has been beaten to death lol. It is what it is. I will say though if you won't watch the game because of the jersey they are wearing, that seems a bit silly actually... Sometimes, i think it's best to remember that 5 or 6 or even 100 people don't really make a difference in the big picture. Hell even 1000 don't make a huge difference. Gotta remember that the folks that post on these forums, we are indeed the minority. As much as it kills me to say it, yup, this is the minority on these forums, sure it might be the "hardcore" fans and being hardcore fans probably means that it will be difficult to accept change. But, with that being said, for a jersey that will only be worn once, maybe twice at most, but my guess is only once, It's a lot of complaining really for nothing. Don't like the jersey? that's fine, nobody really does, ok a few people do but really... that's fine, people can like it or dislike it all they want, who really cares actually.. but saying you are being forced to watch them play in these is a crock of crap for sure, Nobody is forcing you to watch, if you don't want to watch cuz of the jersey, so be it, don't watch... they will be back to wearing their normal ones next week. And as much as it kills me to say this here, guess what.. 13 pages of people talking about the bombers new jersey and the other teams new jerseys, people are talking and really, that's all that the people at reebok care about.. It's getting people talking. Say what you will about the jersey, like it? great. Don't like it? That's great too but can't deny the fact that one thing it has done is get people talking about it. i honestly wouldn't be surprised to see 100's of them at the game this friday. I won't be one of them but, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see lots of people wearing them.

No but only because i already have 3 and don't wear 2 of them any more. I have no use for another one to sit in the closet only to be worn once. With that being said though, if they sell t-shirts like that but not all blue i might buy one.. I actually kind of like the shirts that some of our "coaches" have worn on the sidelines.

Yeah im really not sure why anyone expected them to come out with new royal blues when they already are selling them at the bomber store. Hell, i bought one last year and was just there a week ago and theres tons still for sale. You want a royal blue? go down to the store to buy them, they will be wearing the royal blues later in the year for one game (maybe the banjo bowl?? or maybe the bud grant appreciation game)

Dear Reebok, i actually don't mind them but i'm wondering why there is no gold at all. I think what it appears is most people on here don't exactly hate them, they are just wondering why there is no gold in them. That's a valid "complaint". We are blue n gold, not just blue. I don't see anyone really complaining about the camo stuff, seems most actually don't mind the camo look, hell some people aren't even complaining about the jersey too much, they are just wondering why they didn't include any gold in them. Valid question and complaint really. The twitter world don't seem to mind them but it sounds like most would like to know why they completely ignored our colour scheme.

bombers obviously aren't too impressed with the jerseys, wonder how much say they had? NONE? Going on what a few people on here have said regarding the more camo look, gotta wonder if reebok put the kaibosh on what the bombers actually preferred to have. Probably not impressed that it doesn't include the gold colour, they are blue n gold, not argo blue.

I'm not sure they are terrible, it's just not bomber colours at all. You put some gold in there instead of going all blue and they look pretty decent, I don't think they are the worst in the league and they are certainly not the best, minus the lack of gold and the fact they look more like argo jerseys than bomber jerseys, they aren't that bad. I'd love to hear an explanation why they completely ignored the gold though. They are apparently wearing them just once this year and maybe once next year, for a jersey that will be worn maybe twice, whatever really. The royal blues are apparently being worn for a game this year too. I'd understand the "uproar" more so if they were changing to this jersey all the time but they aren't. They will wear them once for sure and maybe once next season.

They aren't terrible actually but they do look like they were meant for the argos. Not going to buy one but they are "nicer" than i expected them to be actually. Just the colours don't exactly scream Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The only thing i will say is regardless of the story, it don't matter if its a gang member in winnipeg getting gunned down, it don't matter if its' a black guy being gunned down in the states, lol at the word "kid" used to describe a 6'4 305 pound 18 year old but.. regardless, you hear the same stuff, "he was such a good kid, trying to turn his life around" but then the facts come out and it makes you go hmm really.. Well some facts came out.. FACT: this "kid" minutes prior robbed a store with his not very credible witness friend... that's a good kid? a guy trying to turn his life around? BULLCRAP. The other thing i'll say is, as much as some segments of the population may not agree, a cop will not shoot a civilian unless that cop is threatened. Obviously the "kid" did something to provoke the cop, if he didn't, the cop wouldn't have shot him a bunch of times. That's all i have to say... hear the same thing every time in these "cases", it always turns in to a race issue, natives here, blacks down in the states.. it's always the white man shot him but the people never refuse to accept that their "little boy" might have been guilty of doing something to provoke the cop. Nobody knows any real facts as to why the cop shot him but i'd be willing to bet just about anything i got that he had a very very valid reason to do so. Rumours have it the "kid" actually reached in to the cops car to try to grab his gun, well i don't know about anyone else, but that's a big no no and if that's the case, well, it is what it is.

Don't hate the helmet, i'd like it more if they replaced the argo blue with some bomber gold, outside of that though, it looks OK. Not really expecting anything too great, just based on everyone elses that have been revealed, is the helmet the worst? nope, is it the best? nope, is it any worse than any of the others that have been revealed so far? not really, the light blue don't make much sense to me though.

Well, it's not the worst that's for sure, i like the jersey. The helmet? not a huge fan of but... since the redblacks are "lumberjacks" of some kind, or based on lumberjacks, their mascot is one, the plaid actually makes sense.. Don't care for it but it's not the worst one. Our helmet? meh, it ain't so bad, it's not the worst one but really it doesnt make much sense IMO, are we the winnipeg argonauts? the light blue makes no sense, replace that with some gold and maybe they look more like the bombers than the argos or i guess bluegonauts.

"Big" name free agent signing, they probably thought him signing there would want other guys to sign there too, they might have paid too much though and handcuffed themselves in the process.
