To bring this back to Trouba a little bit. I do think it's odd that when Scheifs signed his new deal and when Laine was taken at the draft for that matter... Wheeler Ehlers .. Jets who use social media congratulated them. Trouba did not. Perhaps it's just coincidence but it's strange behavior. I hope that the jets can sign trouba to a reasonable deal... by reasonable I mean 5.5 or less on a 6 or 7 year deal... if not... perhaps trading him would be for the best. It would also be very interesting to know what the jets think his ceiling is cuz I do tend to think that perhaps trouba is a bit over rated by a segment of the fans

Reality is most of the kids were pretty Damn good. It was the vets who sucked. And that's why guys like Fraser Harrison Cormier Albert Halischuk Raffl won't be brought back.

As for Armia. Shane Prince just signed a 2 yr deal with nyi. 6 goals 12 assists 18 points in his nhl career. Armia has 4 goals 6 assists 10 points in his career. Prince will be paid 700 000 in 2016. Have played pretty much the same amount of nhl games also. 1 million? Not a chance

D men who play D very good are good to have. Enstrom is that guy. I will say I'd move him in a heartbeat tho because his age doesn't fit. Plus then you could protect buff trouba myers. Younger players. Toby is a legit #2 d man on most teams and a #1 on some. He's good. He's just not part of the future. Some people just see his height tho.
