Toffoli and Monahan both looking like rentals.

I’d probably sit Toffoli or Ehlers next game for Perfetti. id also prob put in Schmidt for Stanley.

Why? Jets are like 9 and 16 in the whiteout or something. They lose more. Jets better suited for the road games. My only concern after 2 games is I’m not sure what the game plan is. This isn’t jets hockey. If we don’t get back to playing jets hockey it’s over. If they pull their heads out their asses and realize you can’t go back and forth with the Avs, jets still have a very very good chance at winning the series. It really does come down to playing our game vs playing Colorados. I feel it might be easier on the road. Jets were solid for 10 minutes. Played jets hockey the first 10 then got away from it. Think the Stanley experience needs to end. He’s just to slow to keep up.

It’s 1 1. Just like the leafs bruins series and the canucks and predators likely. Lots of games left. Jets need to stop paying Colorado’s back and forth game tho.

lol. Jets got dominated for 2 periods. It’s not just Helle. They won’t win playing Colorado’s game and they have been. Hopefully in Colorado we find our game cuz if we don’t we are done in 5. This is not how the Jets win. This is very high event hockey, that’s Colorados game not ours. Sportsnet is thrilled tho.

Jets D really making brain dead plays all over the ice. Pionk can’t make a pass and neither can Stanley. Demelo almost put one in on Helle himself. They look nervous. I actually think home ice can be a curse at times.

Last year they were very structured game 1. This year not so much. They seemingly want to play Colorados game.

Samberg a natural left shot d man playing on the right side. Think Stanley’s lack of defensive iq Is a bigger concern. Yes he’s big but he’s very slow and doesn’t appear to be in the right spots on D kinda leaving samberg on an island.

It’s crazy the leafs and bruins and canes and islanders played game 2 before Edmonton and LA and Dallas and Vegas played game 1.

The hockey news has been used for years at my parents house. Just so happens to be an excellent paper to use on the bottom of bird cages. I’ve been told I got game 5 tickets if I want them for me and my daughter. Think I may take my friend up on that offer. All I have to do is help him move.

Perhaps it was done on purpose cuz they knew our sp teams weren’t great. Perhaps trying to limit the damage they gave up. I’m not sure. I’d think that they knew what they were doing and prob thought it would be the best way to limit the returns.

Could part of the issue with special teams last year be the coaching. That coach was let go and miller replaced him. I feel when the Aussie kicker was allowed to, he boomed them but lots of times it seemed like they told him to kick it weird. Could be why the sp teams coach was replaced.

As a former goaltender myself I never heard it once called the triangle but it makes sense. I actually put the pads on after I heard him say that and yup there’s a triangle when you go down. Really enjoyed Allen actually.

Oh so he should have stopped one of the top 3 players in the world from 15 feet away. Ok

Avs had 2 power play goals. Not sure which one Helle should have stopped exactly.

Think expecting Georgiev to only let in 1 is wild. Jets might be thinking we could out score them every game and win. But giving up almost 50 shots against is not good.

Helle deserves a jacket. So does Lowry. Damn near 50 shots given up ain’t a good thing. samberg good minus the giveaway which may have been stans fault. Stan slow but not awful minus the giveaway by samberg. He gave him no outlet jets played Colorado game today. Not sure why. We won. So yay. But this isn’t remotely close to how we played the season series with them. 17 to 4. 7 6 today. Gave up more goals today.

Helle was great. Georgiev sucked. Not good today regardless of 1 0.
