Time to bench Connor and pionk. Bones needs to do that before he completely loses the room cuz I think that is happening currently. Did anyone see him during the timeout? Looks like a guy who has no idea how to get through to the players anymore. I’m not saying bones is the problem because this is coach 3 for this core group. I think in the off season, you gotta move out a player or 2 again. Obviously something stinks. I think at this point, bones looks like he’s not gonna pick up his option, I’m not sure if I would if I were him. This team obviously has issues in the room still, just a refusal to play the system that worked so well it seems. That’s on the players. Where’s buff to throw Connor’s tracksuit in the shower. Cuz pretty sure the team isn’t seeing eye to eye currently. U listen to Lowry and get a straight honest answer, listen to 55 and it’s just cliches and they double downed on Scheifele. Just wild. Honestly this team needs heart. The 4 on 1 says it all and then a 3 on 1 moments later. I see ppl going off on Helle online also, weird. Dude is the only reason these scores aren’t ass woopings.

I’d bench Dillon next game. Just no awareness. Gotta know how much time is left.

What did bones call it after they gave up last year vs Vegas. pushback. They just don’t seem to have it.

They can say all the words they want. The other team out working them isn’t because of words tho. accountability does not exist with this group. It’s unfortunate but this is now what we are. We start off strong but don’t seem to have that extra level. It’s been this way for years now unfortunately. Players have changed. Coaches have also. Well, more than half the players maybe now but it’s still the same guys who were an issue 3 4 years ago who are still the issue now. We got a hard working bottom 6. It’s unfortunate our top 6 don’t work as hard. I’m not sure how you fix this.

Only guy who shows as much heart as Brady is Lowry. Brady works hard as does Lowry. Lowry not as skilled. Brady a smaller more skilled Lowry. Who wouldn’t want a Lowry who can score goals. Watch Kyle Connor out there and compare that effort to Brady. It’s night and day.

Keep in mind they are practicing against our pk. Connor Scheifele Vilardi did nothing when they were together. Ehlers Scheifele Vilardi was a top 5 in the league line. Until Connor is off the top line and accountability isn’t just a thing with 3 players on the 4th line, absolutely nothing changes. Nothing.

They were dominating at times, all 2nd and 3/4 the 3rd tonight. Stan and samberg were solid. Josh was dominant. Demelo was Demelo. Dillon struggles when pionk does. Sit pionk. go samberg Dillon Schmidt Stanley. Just do it
