Arniel basically said he liked the 1st. That was a good road period minus the late goal which he called a coverage problem. Liked the first 7 8 minutes of the 2nd then the wheels fell off and they imploded. Says it’s uncharacteristic the mistakes they making , he’s not wrong. Says 2 of our guys go in to the corner with 1 blue and the blue comes out with it leading to another goal. Says blues playing well but it’s the best of 3 now. Mention he’s confident 100 percent on Helle and says he can’t stop what he can’t see and right now he’s not seeing it and if he is, it deflects off our guy and in. Wasn’t asked about refs. Wasn’t asked about line combos. Mainly Helle. Morrissey and Samberg are good but struggling to clear the net. Pionk Demelo and schenn struggling mightily clearing the net tho. They can’t clear it. It’s a huge issue. Was last year vs Colorado also. Colorado tho never hit everything that moves. Blues are good. This could be 7. this is why i preferred Minnesota regardless of them playing well against the knights. Jets matchup better with Minnesota and St. Louis now hasn’t lost at home in 14.

They already won 1 more game in the playoffs than last year so maybe they feel that’s a good step. Truly baby steps here. Not over until u lose at home tho.

If there’s tons of oline and they all grade out similarly, I wouldn’t be opposed to a more skilled position player like DB or LB especially if the depth there isn’t as deep as OL. I’d prefer they get away from Canadians on the DL and go all American there so I’d be not going DL. DB LB OL RB WR is where I’d be looking. No particular order. Maybe BPA Reason? That’s where we play most our Canadians. 7 Canadian starters right or is it 8. I’m never sure anymore. You don’t need Canadian DL to hit the ratio requirements.

I can’t listen to that crap right now. I literally rage quit sportsnet after the game to avoid the talking heads. Montreal btw is known for Cinderella runs in the playoffs. Exact opposite of the Jets.

If Vilardi was healthy they made a mistake not playing him. I’d suspect he is back Wednesday. I wonder who isn’t hurt and who our black aces are cuz with the lack of scoring depth outside 55 and 81, perhaps it’s time to switch up lines 2 3 and 4. If they win the next game they win the series in 6. Lose and it’s St Louis in 6. What’s concerning tho is if I’m new to hockey, jets look like the wild card team. St. Louis is playing fun aggressive hockey. They hitting every jet every chance they get. Jets ain’t responding except when losing already. Do we have a goon?

Ppl need to remember that Helle was the goalie when we went to the West finals Also so it’s not just all on him here.

I don’t think you can blame Helle for some of those goals. Probably all of them honestly but man when you letting in every 3rd shot, that’s not good. Series giving me Colorado vibes tho now. St. Louis has adjusted and we have no answer. And this group has shown once adversity hits in the playoffs, it’s over for them.

If ppl think Ehlers makes a difference, look at Morrissey. Blues have pummelled him every chance they got and he looks like he’s struggling. Same with 55 and 81. Jets need size badly.

Schenn has been terrible this series. He’s so slow. In hindsight Tanev fits with adding speed. Schenn tho makes us slower and blues definitely taking advantage

Don’t blame Arniel. Jets have folded like a cheap tent especially on that goal.

Except they aren’t today. They are controlling play. 4 1 isn’t a blowout especially when it’s you vs the refs blues and sportsnet.

Lose at home and it’s over. Haven’t done that yet. They need to call out the reffing tho. Just because. They need something to rally around cuz right now it’s truly them vs the world. They know they can’t win when the refs favouring one team.

Refs favouring one team leads to the other team being frustrated and confused and this is the result. Make no mistake the refs have decided this game already.

They need to call these pricks out. It’s gonna cost them the series.

If I didn’t know better I’d say the fix is in with these refs. Reffing is making a difference so far. That’s not what ppl want to see.

Helle sucks in the playoffs

All teams minus leafs and panthers who had a 2 0 series lead lost game 3 huge. Kings lost game 3 huge. Caps lost game 3 huge.

Titans grab Ayomanor

He’s not coming back this series. He’s not even skating. Vilardi travelled to St. Louis with them. He might. Ehlers isn’t playing. He’s still week to week. (If rumors are true, it’s possible he’s done as a Jet also as that’s how legit his injury is). He might have played his last game as a Jet. I don’t mean the injuries career threatening. It just means there’s lots of talk he’s not gonna sign here. He’s not close to returning. Maybe maybe round 2 if they make it Is possible but I’ve heard more like round 3. Vilardi and Demelo tho. They should be back perhaps tomorrow even.
