Pens would have to give up lots to get him, they are pretty tight against the cap and i'm not convinced he would agree to go to Pittsburgh anyway. Just get the feeling with Buff that playing close to home is something he really enjoys. Every time i see buff outside of the rink (not often mind you), or i see him at the rink, he is having himself a damn good time. I dunno why but i think he is a pretty important piece on this team. Jets themselves are fighting for a play-off spot right now, I don't really see them moving players to be honest, i could see them adding players tho if they are still in it closer to the deadline. I don't really see them getting rid of any right now tho.

Realistically, I see them going after one of the OL guys (Canadian) so Holmes or Heenan, I could see them throwing some big money at one or both of these guys Westerman is another guy i think they go hard after, Just get the feeling that they wanted him pretty bad a few years ago, so now that he might be available, i could see them throwing some cash at him too. Maybe some foot soldiers also, not necessarily the biggest names but the guys that might get you the best bang for your buck, Sam Hurl, James Green,Jason Arakgi, One of the Long-Snapper type of guys. As for the internationals, Ernest Jackson and Willy have a history together, I could see them going after him, but i'm not sure they really need too. It shouldn't be that hard to find one or 2 international receivers. Also need to remember that a few other Internationals might shake loose, Perhaps even by giving up a late round pick, a guy like Xavier Fulton comes to mind, buried on that Sask depth chart but a pretty damn good tackle. Free Agency, seems to me that it's a way to upgrade the teams national depth, so i think if there is a national player that will help the team, they will go after him and hard. Internationals? I'm not sure exactly, i don't think i'd be throwing piles of money at the International free agents, reality is you should be able to find a few through scouting and that stuff, Don't get me wrong tho, Jacson and Bear Woods are interesting names but i wouldn't break the bank to get them. Go after the Nationals here, that's our biggest issue. National depth and theres a few guys there that will certainly help us out.

Using up the extra cap space i'm assuming to sign guys to new deals. Love it. Anderson is a great player and was missed lots when he got hurt.

I'd rather just give a new guy a shot.. a guy who hasn't been here in the past.. If looking for guys with experience, i'd look hard at a guy like Orlando Steinhauer, Yes, he's in Hamilton right now but his contract must be up right away. Throw him the Assistant Coach Title along with DC title and go get him. Just not a fan of recycling guys we have had in the past. Plus, I know MOS and Steinhauer are good buddies so that plays a role. Are Kavis and MOS buddies? I don't know but generally coaches go after guys they know like and are familliar with, have a history with. Is there history between MOS and Kavis "the ultimate warrior" Reed? I don't know.

Maybe a few unheralded not really big name signings like a sam hurl or special team guys like that would be nice. Be really nice if we could get a Mulumba,Bilukidi or Matthews back.. Plus you gotta even add Graig Newman to the list, never played a game for us this season, think he was a bigger loss than we realized.

Got a PS3, it's a good system. Don't have tons of games, mainly sports game like hockey,football,fifa even, wrestling also. GTA and COD is really fun to play on the PS3 tho. Was thinking about a PS4 but... i don't know if i'll have the time to play it as much as i'd like too. Also play games on the PC and do find that the PC games are generally the best and easier to find.

Brackenridge would be nice but he's not at the top of my want list because we have Mo Leg back there.

Well, looking at the unofficial free agent list, there are definitely a few guys of interest. Holmes,Heenan for starters. How realistic are they? I don't know. Gotta make an offer tho. There are a couple International Oline available there too that might be interesting to take a look at but really when you look at the list, there are really only 3 maybe 5 guys max on the Oline side of things that are worth considering. You look at the other positions. Bear Woods? That would be nice, how likely is it that popp lets him walk tho? I don't know. There are a few guys out there tho for sure who we should be going after and honestly i think even if we weren't hosting the cup, we should be going after some of them. The Draft will be important too, should be able to get 2 solid picks at 2 and 11, pretty deep draft. Do i think they will go after guys just cuz we are hosting the grey cup? Nope, do i think they will go after a few guys because those guys available would help us out quite a lot regardless of hosting grey cup or not, you bet.

I'd rather see uss give a new guy a chance, why recycle defensive coaches we have had in the past? I'll never really understand that. From some wanting Lapolice back to wanting Kavis Reed back, I don't get it.

I think Maurice has realized that in order for this team to win, they need to play tight defensively. I don't think he's a D first coach tho, I think the way the roster is shaped up and the division we are in, defense is important. Maurice recognizes this, His carolina team wasn't exactly d first, I think Maurice just uses the players he has and puts them in the best position possible to win, Wasn't D first in Toronto either. The Jets have a strong defensive team really, Very strong D players. Noel was fine for what he was, he had a long history of being able to work with younger players and make them succeed, Kane did have his best year under Noel, Let's not forget that. So did Burmistrov for that matter, the best years of their careers were under Noel.

Outside of that first period, the case could be made that the Jets actually outplayed the WILD. And they definitely outplayed them in the third. The first goal in on Pavelec? why? cuz the wild player made a nice move in close on the powerplay and scored? I dunno man. Maybe that was a bad goal, i don't really think it was, but... backstrom let in a goal from behind the net (the kane goal) so really it evened out.

Sounds like a case of too many cooks and no real head chef in that kitchen there. Hard to say what will happen with BC, all i know is buono has a reputation and history of having no issues getting rid of veterans. I suspect several are let go. Marsh i think has punched his ticket out of town, see one his tweets there saying 24 (banks) should still be with the team. That in my opion means that's all she wrote for Marsh.

We are in somewhat of a unique position as a team, where we pretty much need national help across the board, yes the biggest need is obviously oline but it's not our only need, we could use a receiver, watson ain't getting any younger or healthier, we could use some dline, we definitely need oline, we all know that so really what it comes down too, is... a couple things. 1. Free Agency - let's just pretend we sign a ben heenan or tyler holmes, do we still need that oline help? Even one of them 2. Who has NFL aspirations, that's an important factor, That Danny Groulx seems like he might be a nice pick if there at 2, Tackle from Laval but.. Laval seems to produce guys who want to try the NFL, is it worth it to draft him at 2 only to find out that he wants to give the NFL a try? 3. It's a deep draft OLINE wise, there are about what? 10 OLINE guys there ranked in the top 15 or 20, Means we could probably get one at 11 also if we wanted too. Unique position to be in, could grab Demski at 2 and get an oline at 11 who may end up being better than the guy at 2. It's really hard to say.

K. Gonna say this, i don't really have any issues with the Riders, my family has a couple rider fans in it, my moms brother married a girl from SASK, and they are fine, she is ok. She has been a fan her entire life, that's fine. She was there in the bad times, the telethon to save the team times and the good times, stuck around through the bad and got rewarded with some good. That's fine. I do however think that several rider fans are only fans because the team has been good the lasts couple years, it seems to me that the riders have a large portion of bandwagon fans, when the going gets tough, lots of those fans get or will get going. No issue with the riders organization, they are pretty good and pretty much the example on how to run a community owned team, wouldn't it be nice if the bombers were pulling in those profits? I do take exception to the fans who are new who say they have been there the entire time, through the bad and the good times, that's BS. And any fan base who prides themselves on being the best fans in the league, well, that's fine, we all think our fan bases are the best.. the difference tho, the rest of the teams fans in the league don't need to come out and say it.

Blaming Maurice or Pavelec is like blaming ETCH and the D for the bombers when the Offense keeps going 2 and out all game 0 for 8 powerplay no even strength shots in the first But lets blame the coach and the goalie.

Obviously, you haven't been following the Bombers drafts. We used 1 high draft pick on Pencer (Stupid pick) and 1 on Goosen (TBD) in the last 6 years. and a bunch taken in the later rounds like every team does, what's your damn point?
