  1. Of course there is a decision to be made, even if Walters takes no action before game #10 that constitutes a decision he has made to continue on with Willy.
  2. So it looks like game #10 is Walters deadline to come to a decision on Willy's future. I don't think he would use any money saved to bring in new players but could use it to re-up some of his current players he wants to hold through next year. He has a handful of very good new players that are probably playing for close to the league minimum.
  3. Walters can sit, watch and wait for now but because of the size of Willy's game day pay-cheque I think he has to have a plan of action ready to roll and a countdown date in mind for dealing with Willy. Unfortunately for Willy his contract has potentially sealed his fate, much as it did for Clarence and many of the vets. cut loose in the off-season. Performance has to be measured against price and hard numbers may disguise the real story but ultimately tell no lies. Accounting 101: Fish or cut bait.
  4. Are you talking about fishing or picking up beotches down at the lake?
  5. This is kind of unrelated but when a player like Fogg agrees to return punts does he receive an incentive payment? I would think jeopardising ones health and a starter's position to help out on teams should have some reward.
  6. Holy Christ, what a prima donna. This should dispel all thoughts that Burris would be a good fit in Wpg. he would be an unmitigated disaster,
  7. Shoulder injury is terrible news for an O-lineman, it could be awhile before Hardrick can play again. Foketi up!
  8. I don't think anyone would have predicted that the D would start playing as well as they have since the Edm. game with a decimated secondary, that's the real story. If the O can consistently produce 20-25 points a game they should be in every contest. ST has also played a huge role securing great field position and basically shutting down all returns.
  9. Derek Jones deserves a shout as well, he's been great all season but especially noticeable in the last game with the punt block. Time for Jones to graduate from ST's and be given a shot as a starter, if not in Wpg. than elsewhere in the CFL.
  10. As stated before Lirim wasn't cut, he went to F.A. Walters said a few times that he intended to re-sign him but couldn't get his signature on a contract for whatever reason. After his successful first season there was a narrative that Lirim intended to give the NFL a shot, so he had no long-term plans with the Bombers anyway.
  11. It probably came down to Cole's performance against Edm. and which of Green or Hubbard had the most potential. Apparently Green is a physical freak, super strong.
  12. Cauchy has a GC ring, while brother Henoc is still looking for work.
  13. Fogg did a great job subbing for McDuffie in the first Edm. game, he took one punt all the way but it was nullified by the infamous S. Green hand to the face penalty on the 10 yd. line.
  14. Supervisors, making sure everything runs tickety-boo. If Craig Smith needs help they'll be well rested to come up with sterling suggestions on how he can improve his productivity and reduce his costs.
  15. It didn't look like his hand injury was fully healed. Kilgore looked good for a rookie, TO just keeps pumping out the QB's.
  16. Tony Gabriel part of the GC announcement, wow haven't heard from him in about 50 years. It looks like he sells pizza now.
  17. I was referring more to the Riders forum, not here. RS, Rotor and BSD are Jones biggest promoters but have virtually disappeared since the Mtl. debacle. No more toot left in their horn.
  18. Hey, where's your classic???
  19. Riders try to grab Stampeders’ OL off practice roster As per Justin Dunk: http://3downnation.com/2016/07/30/riders/ Riders try to grab Stampeders’ OL off practice roster Posted on July 30, 2016 by Justin Dunk // 1 Comment Saskatchewan tried to nab Canadian offensive lineman Roman Grozman from Calgary’s practice roster this past week, per CFL sources. The Riders have had a spate of injuries occur among their offensive line group. Those setbacks have landed Chris Best, Brendon LaBatte, Dan Clark, Matt Vonk, Dillon Guy and Xavier Fulton on the six-game injured list. Five of those blockers carry a Canadian passport, which has made national offensive line depth very thin in Riderville. That led to the Riders trying to take Grozman from the Stampeders, but the six-foot-four, 319-pounder declined. “They could have drafted him. They’re trying to build a team by scooping up other teams’ developmental players,” a CFL source says. There are two ways a team can protect a practice roster player. The first is activating him for at least two games. The second would be for the player to decline going to the team who tries to claim them, which is what Grozman did. Back in June, the Riders added two Canadians who declined practice roster spots with the B.C. Lions. And No. 1 overall pick, Josiah St. John went down in Saskatchewan’s 41-3 loss to Montreal on Friday.
  20. That has been fully debated, if you missed the rebuttal here is the summary.
  21. Kent Austin says Zach Collaros will not play this Wed vs. #Bombers Again: "Getting close" #Ticats play #Lions 10 days after WPG #CFL
