  1. ...and when it works, like it did, it is a brilliant strategy to close out the game.
  2. I thought the league made the decision when they changed the rules that if the play was on the other side of the field and had no impact on the play they were not going to call it. Utter bullshit.
  3. Substitute Flanders a real R.B., for Demski and the play works brilliantly. There was a trade-off when they made that switch, but since they aren't making much use of Demski's receiving ability, the payoff has not been fully realized.
  4. T.O.P. Bombers 33:41, Stamps 26:19, despite two S.T. TD's that kept the Bomber offence off the field in the first half. If Nichols couldn't move the ball, how do you explain that differential?
  5. This game showed that the team has grit, glory hallelujah. They defeated Calgary and it wasn't won on luck.
  6. Classic Bomber team win, whether it's Medlock kicking 5 FG's, the D causing multiple turnovers, ST returns, or Harris carrying the O on his back, it's all good for the W.
  7. Your full explanation is welcome, if you have one.
  8. Most annoying thing is that play is planned by Dickenson.
  9. Maybe, maybe not, at least with Nichols the surprise element is intact. Not surprised he didn't make it though.
  10. Saved Hecht's butt, he was 10 yds. behind.
  11. This one is usually pretty good. http://myfeed2all.eu/type/american-football.html
  12. I'm hedging my bets, picked the Stamps in the "pickems" that way even if the Bombers get beat up, I keep my lunch money.
  13. What happened to Alex Green? I thought he looked pretty dynamic last year. Injuries are a concern with Marshall but he is a very good RB when healthy.
  14. If a gun was handy, death by poisonous plant would be a really bad choice. From the looks of the boat they allegedly used they may have been naive enough to think they could ride the Nelson all the way to Hudson Bay, but in the end they really had no hope of surviving in that corner of the world. Flat bottomed boat on a fast flowing river would be moving about 40 mph with little way to slow it down.
  15. Very true, Masoli would have beat them last week and Adams would probably beat them this week. Nuthin' but horseshoes fuelling their streaking comet.
  16. As long as O'Shea and Walters can keep the team in the vicinity of first place every year in the West as the Stamps have for the past decade not sure how much more can be demanded of them. Playoffs are a crap shoot, but odds are if they can accomplish the first objective they should be able to win a G.C. at least once every 4 years, it seems reasonable to expect that they claim their first within the next two years.
  17. Another inexplicable collapse last weekend, the normally sound coverage team allows the previously unproductive Rainey room to romp on both punt and kickoff returns. 😡
  18. Has Pipkin ever won a game? If Adams is out, money has to be on the Riders.
  19. It will be interesting to find out the cause of death, they lasted 8 days but people do not generally starve to death that quickly. Overnight lows for Gillam at this time of the year are around 10 C, so not likely exposure either. Police reported a sleeping bag was found tangled in the reeds along the shore line so it looks like they lost critical supplies to the Nelson.
  20. I don't think Bailey or Mike Jones got a fair shake, although there may be other roster issues that sent them back to the PR so quickly.
  21. Anyone know if Vernon Adams is going to start this week?
  22. They tried to cross the Nelson River in a small boat, big mistake.
  23. Matthews turn will come, he's in the line up.
