It's hard to believe with that defense they shipped out Methot for so little...y not at least wait for the trading deadline...though this is the same GM who basically gave away Forsberg so i guess it's to be expected. Good luck Knights.

Yup just like you. Read the sun today they have the Jets drafting the worst out of the Canadian teams...even calling Vesalainen a utility player...so a little early to be crowing how great we did in the draft....

Not giving Dubnyk enough credit he changed his style of play and how he tracks the puck....he is a different goalie compared to earlier in his career.

Glad to get Reaves out of our division.Strange trade for St Louis cause they protected him in the expansion draft. But I guess they want to move in a different direction.

Your right Goalie we dont know what we may have missed by moving down...maybe nothing maybe a future star. It could be a huge cost or not. Imo it's a big gamble for a LHD who's best years are behind him but we will see.

Because keeping our most experienced LHD who has been part of our last 2 non playoff years has costs us a possible star D of the future and 5.5 million again for this year. If Enstrom was this fantastic LHD that other teams coveted why did Vegas accept (your terms) so little in value for him?

Seriously what's Chevy gonna say our guy was gone....we had to go to plan b? Every GM says we can't believe that guy was still there. We will never know who Chevy would of drafted at 13.

Yep dropping down to keep our current roster does...since you won't let this drop...i will keep pointing it out.

Yea keeping the same players we have had for the last 2 years is gonna make all the difference...?

Can't say ethier one...he may become a good Nhl player or flame out..but he definitely doesn't have Ethlers offense at the same age but is a different player a power forward..we will see.

Yea real swing there rated 7th to 34 so could be a steal or not but usually our scouts have been gold..

Not going to critize...if they like this kid then there must be a good reason. Rated anywhere from top 10 to second round but we have had great success with our off the cuff picks.

Lol well no d for us....must be something makes this guy stand out besides the Laine in his name??

Yea well one playoff in 7 years what's the rush?

Yep Suzuki , Foote , Brannstrom (sp) lilgren (sp) lots of potential star d there. If Hague still sticks when we draft maybe not all is lost.. ?

We will see....Vegas seems to think the other way as well.

We will see... Vegas didn't seem to interested ethier....if this was such a good deal for us.

Yeah I know it was done so we could of lost ethier Dano or Enstrom. If you guys value these 2 players then yes it's a good deal. I think they are way overrated based on their play of the last 2 years. Obviously Chevy agrees with you guys that they are worth the price of a wasted year last year for a top 15 draft pick. See who we get and who we miss out on 13...shows you how much Vegas values these 2 guys though...

Perreault Armia and Copp were already protected....?

Well no pitchfork if there is another deal with this but dropping down just to hold on to marginal players at best makes zero sense....thats what people don't understand.....replace what a d man that has trouble staying healthy and makes 5 mil a year or a forward that is a bigger Burmistrov clone?

Maybe we dropped down to protect Dano ? We don't know which player Chevy protected I'm saying ethier one was not worth dropping down for.

The reason Chevy asked Enstrom to waive his Nmc is because he was the best player to lose if the Jets had to lose a player... should of let him go. We basically blew a whole year last year to draft 24???

Ok Trevor Daley Chris Russel hell Oduya again, Polak...how many more you need? All could replace what Enstrom has given us the last 2 years .....

If that was the case then you drop down to protect Lowry or Perreault if you can't get a NMC you don't get your ass kicked for Enstrom by promising him you will what protect him at all cost? What if this wasnt enough for Lvk then what? No way Chevy promises Enstrom he will protect him.

So your willing to drop 11 spots for Dano or Enstrom huh? 5 mill ain't gonna get us a decent free agent d-man man? Hey if one those 2 players are worth it to u great trade then. They are obviously over estimated by Chevy. If there is nothing else to this. Imo horrible overpay for 2 marginal players at best in this stage of their careers.
