This topic is moot because Mike O'shea will not sit Nichols for Streveler, not when we are 6 and 2. If we lost 4 in a row..maybe. If we are winning Nichols starts no matter how poorly he plays. I understand O'shea thinking on this,i just wish we could get Streveler in more....

Davis has the tools...its his accuracy and what's between the ears that i am not sold on.

Even the great Tom Clements was sat down when struggling to give Huffer a chance to move the O and give a little different look for the d...if we have a QB with a different skill set and it gives our starting Qb a little breather, what's the big deal?

It is games like this that make it so frustrating to watch Nichols..not because he had a poor game,he did but it happens. It is more for me that they have a BACKUP qb that can mix it up when Nichols is struggling and MOS refuses to do so. But MOS aint ever gonna change so we lose when our QB is sub par. We lost we move on..better Nichols has the odd poor game now rather than later....

What is the chances of this guy shaking loose from the Eagles??

Any team with BLM can never be overlooked..and now Arbuckle is looking scary as well..add to that Huffer, who will reinforce that d and i still put Calgary as the class in the league. We are pushing this year though..😊

Well i for 1 was not surprised when a kid fresh from the US of A comes in at 23 and does the things McGuire did you have to look at his potential to be the next starting Qb for us...Bennett has had what 3 years now? 2 teams? Its all about potential at 3 and McGuire has that in spades.

Yep then was so great we signed Durant and cut Davis. As much as i slag MOS this guy had a lot of chances to show he could be a good QB didn't do it...we will see with Ott.. but i am not holding my breath.

This from 3 down... The 28-year-old spent three seasons in Winnipeg but saw limited action, appearing in 47 games but making just one start. He has thrown for 377 yards on 33 of 54 passing in his career while also carrying the ball 16 times for 66 yards. SO YEAH he did start and was terrible...just saying.

I can only go by when he started for us when Nichols got hurt and he was definitely a deer in the headlights QB...but Ottawa doesn't have much of a choice right now.

All this on Streveler...meh,he was working with a patchwork oline and new to the CFL rec against the first string Edm def. Lets see what he brings next week when everything is more settled.
