  1. TSN in Montreal reported a few minutes ago that Smith is starting.
  2. Dan Knapp is a physical freak though.
  3. @JeffreyBannon: Wanted to thank the @Wpg_BlueBombers for 9 great years. Was my honor to work for them and now I'll cheer as loud as I can from the stands.
  4. I agree with the post-game show. You'd think with TSN losing NHL broadcasting rights they'd add more to their CFL production.
  5. Still only one backup OL...Goossen. Swiston is on the 2 man reserve.
  6. Bryant I suspect will be on the 2 man reserve, in case Kelly can't go because of his knee. I'm glad Suber isn't getting any playing time...not a fan. I suspect they still have him listed on the one game IR. My guess is Sears will rotate between safety and LB, with Alexander rotating in at safety and Sherman at LB. I'm not as concerned with Alexander at safety this week because Smith isn't very good at throwing deep balls.
  7. @CFL: #CFL & @siriusxmcanada have announced a new multi-year agreement to air all CFL games on SiriusXM radio - http://t.co/d4dxz2aC6U
  8. I know. But read the exchange between JBR and me. JBR is saying draft BPA, don't draft based on position. Goossen was the consensus #2 center, but not the consensus #2 BPA. Using JBRs logic, that decision will 'handicap' the Bombers.
  9. All I'm saying is Goossen wasn't the consensus 2 best player available.
  10. Draft the best football players (obviously need to put some thought into whether their NFL chances) and sort it out. Don't mind stocking up on traditional NI positions (OL, receiver, DL) after the third round, but you're handicapping your team if you draft for position earlier. So you think Walters handicapped the Bombers by drafting Goossen this year?
  11. Chase Clement had some great highlight videos too!
  12. If we ever plan on starting 4 Canadians on the OL, we need to keep drafting them.
  13. Interesting read: http://cfl.ca/article/cauz-a-stock-report-on-young-quarterbacks.
  14. I can't understand why they wouldn't add the additional 6000 temporary seats. Boggles my mind.
  15. I think Canadian OL depth is more of a priority, at least in the first round. I agree with that. That's why I said somehow. Although look at what is Coombs doing right now. Given a little more time, he can be elite like Cornish and Harris. I'm not sure if Demski could on the first round though, once all the prospects names are in including the NCAA's there a guys that could go ahead of him on the rankings. Of course, there are guys that could garner NFL interests though. It's too early though since everything will change as the season goes on. What exactly has Coombs done so far? Had a couple good plays? Way to early to say he's 'arrived' or is a stud.
  16. I think Canadian OL depth is more of a priority, at least in the first round.
  17. Looks like their situation is worse than ours, but possibly a little more manageable with 10,000 fewer seats. We're actually fortunate to have as much parking, compared to TD Place.
  18. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/bombers/sears-takes-hit-from-cfl-133058303.html Nice find. Doug Brown is very very confused.
  19. Max fine is half a game cheque.
  20. Ladies...get to know our newest starting OL: .
  21. It was real popular in the North End back in the day. Along with torching cars. With it being he in BC I was in tough against the local judges.I did have a good time though the people in BC were great, hospitality was amazing and the feasts of local hand picked mushrooms are something I will never forget. Once I finally remember. Sounds like a great childhood.
  22. Field installation is almost completed. That I can confirm.
  23. You did an armpit farting championship?
  24. Which hotel? Do the prices include taxes?
