  1. There are no longer blackouts for any CFL games. All games are on TSN.
  2. That's HOT!!!!! Agreed. Take selfies this week and post them in here.
  3. Ghostbusters?
  4. i hate you all Lol... now go back to work and think of hashtag for Drew Willy and Bryant Turner Fine. If we're using island... Bryant "the refrigerator" Turner and Drew "Matt the gunslinger Dunigan" Willy. Re-purposing nicknames is wrong. Just wrong. That is not what us Manitoba Strong people are about. I agree.
  5. Drew Edwards is the Ticats equivalent of Bob Irving. He basically works for the team.
  6. From Drew Edwards Scratching Post: ESPN not covering game means something, but not a lot Among all the other things that have revolved around the Tiger-Cats the past three years, the fact that their home game against Winnipeg Blue Bombers July 31 has been moved off ESPN will be a minor blip, with little lasting impact. The game has been moved to ESPN3, an on-line network, which means Hamilton, and the Ticats, will not get exposed to the potential of a massive audience on the main network of the United States’ dominant sports network. “Originally this game was scheduled to be on ESPN to showcase Hamilton's new stadium,” said the CFL’s Jamie Dykstra in a prepared statement. “But since the game has been moved to Ron Joyce Stadium, it will now be carried on ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, ESPN3. ESPN will explore opportunities to feature Hamilton's new stadium on one of its linear TV networks later on in the season.” That “linear” network could be ESPN or ESPN2, or even the network’s news service Originally this game was scheduled to be on ESPN to showcase Hamilton's new stadium. But since the game has been moved to Ron Joyce Stadium, it will now be carried on ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, ESPN3. ESPN will explore opportunities to feature Hamilton's new stadium on one of its linear TV networks later on in the season. It was the CFL which contacted ESPN after the official announcement last week that Tim Hortons Field would not be ready for its scheduled opening and that home games on July 26 and July 31 had been moved to the McMaster campus. The CFL’s goal, as stated, was to showcase the stadium and that dissipated with the construction delays. As well as profiling the Pan An Stadium specifically, any game on the main ESPN network increases the profile of the CFL. That can be used to build an international fan base and also to link potential players from the U.S. to the CFL. It was a joint decision between the network and the league to shift the game off the main network. Although it is being played as a major setback in some quarters, the decision is actually good for Hamilton and the CFL, isn’t it? If the Ticats had been in the stadium on July 31, it would have been a makeshift situation, essentially a game played inside a still-ongoing construction site. And televising to a potentially vast audience from tiny Ron Joyce Stadium would not have satisfied any of the CFL’s, or Hamilton’s, goals.
  7. His lawyer was just on TSN1290. She says the basis of the lawsuit is the CFLs failure to disclose the protocol for managing "sub-concussions" where you don't show symptoms, and the CFLs failure to follow the "3 strikes you're out" rule that has been known since the 80s. Arland is apparently doing this for his 3 sons who want to play football. Apparently Arland is suffering from memory loss, confusion and poor decision making. His lawyer says he should have never been allowed to return from a massive blow he suffered in 2012 that resulted in another concussion.
  8. They had a kiosk downtown last year around Christmas at the Manitoba Hydro building, but I don't think it's there anymore.

  10. Pretty sure that was Calgary.
  11. Can you explain? Guys on the 2 man inactive roster still get paid their full salary.
  12. I agreed with you on that one. Protecting Willy is priority number one. For serious tho.. Was there anyone even remotely suggesting otherwise? I don't recall a single post of "golly gee, I think our o-line is swell, best in the league, don't bring in anyone else!" Kinda like standing in front of a raging inferno and saying "see, told ya it's hot!" Some are suggesting Canadian depth at receiver is more important.
  13. Unbelievable the Stamps just let him go. Walters is a stud for making that shrewd under the radar move. Korey Banks helped recruit Randle, so that alone was worth $60,000 if he helped convince Randle to sign with the Bombers.
  14. Speaking of depth, coincidentally I had a business meeting today where it was mentioned (yet again) that I was a hard core Blue Bomber fan in which I then was introduced to the father of Gord Hinse who said his son was signed by the Blue Bombers. The father did mention his son is having issues with his shoulder but close to being in game shape. Does anyone know if that's been confirmed yet? I haven't seen it reported anywhere or is this old news. Very old news. Bombers picked up Gord Hinse a few weeks ago after Edmonton released him, and placed him on the 6 game IR. He's eligible to start practicing in a week.
  15. That happened several times during the final drive too where Willy threw the game winning TD.
  16. Couldn't agree more. The experience and atmosphere is electric. That is what everyone used to say before they attended a Killer griller party. Speaking of electric one of our first parties had electric chainsaw juggling. Adds that little extra element over gas chainsaws. So let me guess...these "parties" actually consist of you watching the Bomber game by yourself, in your parents basement, getting drunk on Lucky beer, wearing nothing but your briefs. Am I right?Nope, you forgot the Delissio.Sounds like a great time.Throw in the pre- game VHS porn, damn straight it is. You're livin' the life most of us only dream of.

  19. Couldn't agree more. The experience is surreal and the atmosphere is electric.
  20. Bombers should put you on their staff! Nice job.
  21. Well since you're asking, he did physically assault his wife pretty badly.
  22. Based on trends from the last 2 home games, we should be able to reach 30k in the next 48 hours.
  23. @Darren_Cameron: Ticket count for Thursday: 27,700 and moving. Get them! #Bombers
