  1. @DarrinBauming: Anderson (heel) should return, according to Mike O'Shea. #Bombers
  2. @PentonKirk: Mike O'Shea says Cory Watson, Chris Greaves and Moe Leggett likely won't play on Thursday. #Bombers
  3. Arrive 60-90 minutes early and it'll be a breeze. You can park at the Giant Tiger lot, and the Future Shop lot on Pembina. Both are 15-25 minute walks to the stadium. Might even be free if you get the 90 minutes before kickoff.
  4. Nice quick decision on that challenge.
  5. Schultz just referred to BCs head coach as Jaques Chapdelaine. lol
  6. Duane Ford seems really off tonight. I wonder if he spent too much time on St Catherine's after last nights game?
  7. My guess is he's making starter money and was 2nd or 3rd on Hamilton's depth chart.
  8. Huff listing every cliche in the book in his pre game speech.
  9. He's mostly playing slotback tonight.
  10. Coombs looking great!
  11. Rod Black and Duane Ford working back to back nights.
  12. Coombs has 5 receptions for 40 yards.
  13. No I say these refs need to be sent a message that the fans are there to watch the game, not watch the refs litter red on the field and run their ****** mouths almost the whole time. That's money wasted on their part, and these refs need to learn they are not above the law. In the words of Kavis Reed, "There Must Be Consequences". We'll agree to disagree then. Your proposals are way over the top. Johnson will discuss with the refs, the players will clean things up and this will be a non-issue in a week or two.
  14. I'm sure Glenn Johnson, head of officiating will discuss with his staff and it will improve. No need for any drastic changes.
  15. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers landed a little more CFL experience today. General manager Kyle Walters swung a deal with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, acquiring linebacker Abraham Kromah for future considerations. The Bombers were interested in Kromah in free agency this year, but he ended up leaving the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the Tabbies. He became expendable when Simoni Lawrence returned from the NFL. Kromah, who can play both the weak-side and middle linebacker positions, is a 6-foot, 227-pound native of Staten Island, N.Y., and was leading the Saskatchewan Roughriders in tackles when he broke his right leg in an August 2012 game. The Duke product returned for the season finale that year but didn’t play during the entire 2013 season after the Riders signed Rey Williams.
  16. @BobIrvingCJOB: Bombers acquire l .b. Abraham Kromah from Hamilton for futures. Strictly a depth move.
  17. Regarding Howard, he did come to camp late, as he was pursuing NFL opportunities so he may just be getting in a groove with the rest of the OL...it takes time for an OL to gel and changing one guy can throw things off quite a bit. I'd give him another shot as I think he could be really good with some patience. If the coaching staff wants to switch things up though, they could give Jarvis Jones a try next week, but he's more of a tackle, where Howard has lots of experience at guard and tackle. What bothers me a little is that coaching staffs always assume an import will perform better than a Canadian. I bet Goossen would have done no worse than Howard last night, and starting Goossen would have allowed us to put the best D on the field.
  18. That's actually a pretty good idea, if the coaching staff is set on getting Cotton into the game. I still really like Woods, but he is a bit of a one trick pony and that might limit his chances of staying in the lineup on a consistent basis. We should take the kickers off the roster too...one-trick ponies. That's just an ignorant comment. Comparing apples to oranges. Surprised someone with your knowledge would make that comment. I love Woods, but the smaller rosters in the CFL sometimes make getting guys like him on the roster.

  20. Good analysis. I think you covered all the main points I would have added. On the OL, I'd put Goossen back in; he can't be any worse than Howard was last night, plus it allows us to start more imports on D.
  21. Article says Irving will be semi-retiring and giving up his role as Sports Director at CJOB this year ad then becoming a part-time employee working only during Bomber season. I sure hope Toth doesn't take over as Sports Director...that would be a disaster.
  22. The upside of Cotton on kickoff returns isn't worth the risk of putting Washington in on punt returns. Get Woods back in there.
