Scouting report on Pall: Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors since his junior season. Senior totals included 32 tackles/8 tackles for loss/3 sacks and after he had 60/22.5/12.5 the prior year. Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 when he was named to several All-American teams. Positive: Hardworking yet undersized college defensive end who gets the most from his ability. Quick off the snap, fast off the edge and displays the ability to immediately alter his angle of attack. Plays with good pad level, keeps his feet moving and quickly regains his balance off the initial block. Displays an array of moves protecting himself, slices to the inside of blocks and consistently gets behind the line of scrimmage to make plays. Shows ability in pursuit and is fluid moving in every direction of the field. Negative: Small and easily handled at the point of attack. Rarely used in coverage or asked to make plays in space. Analysis: Pall is a hardworking defender who plays with a nonstop motor. He has size limitations yet could be used as a pass rush specialist at the next level in a three-point stance or standing up over tackle.

Which is pretty damning when it comes to the guys on the beat isn't it? When the guy who only covers them part time knows more about what's going on than the guys on the beat full time. This is why we complain about the papers so much. Penton and Tait both got back to me on this. Penton's tweet was the accurate one based on O'Shea's presser today.

Yeah, agreed. I just posted it cause it looked neat. But I'd want to be there for longer then a day. I could do a one week all inclusive to Cuba (including flight, hotel, drinks and food) for less than that. You're either exaggerating or picking a shitty resort. If you go when it's not peak season (travel in Oct-Dec) , you can definitely get those kinds of prices at decent resorts in Cuba. Yep, in December before Christmas, and it would be a decent resort...3.5 to 4 star.

I will agree, those 2 throws are back breakers BUT we shouldnt even be in those positions to have to force those throws... Also, the guy whos making those ints is the same cool customer who has orchastrated 2 (or 3?) Unreal last minute combacks.. Good with bad..Unreal comebacks against the East. The interceptions are completely unacceptable. A #1 QB gets you those comeback wins while also not throwing games away. It's what makes qb's great. Frankly the lustre we saw on Drew is coming off mighty fast.Do you realize Willy is essentially a rookie? He's still learning but has all the tools, both mental and physical, that you'd want in your starting QB. He can be a rookie until the cows come home but he's had years learning behind Durant and is 28. And bad decision making isn't something you can necessarily fix overnight. If Willy indeed does have bad decision making and can be made to panic in the pocket we're in for a very very long rebuild. He was a backup for 2 years in Sask. Would you prefer we bring back Goltz? We are fortunate to have Willy and I'm confident he'll bring us to a Grey Cup win during his tenure with the Bombers.
