My thoughts about tonight's game. 
- Eskies DLine dominates the BC OLine
- Jennings was off, fumbled the ball, his long ball was off, and he held on to the ball too long but boy can he really throw it. 
-White and Johnson are two underrated running backs. Both complete their offenses so well. 
- Williams will be the next all star reciever in the league. But on that note have you noticed receivers getting away with pushing off the DB. Kind of un fair considering you barely breathe on a reciever and it gets called for pass interference 
- Nick Moore was the best reciever for BC tonight. 
-Quiet nights for Arceneaux and Bowman. 
- Rielly is my favourite non Bomber QB
- Adam Kontar was all over the field. I really like his game. 
-Johnny Adams had a rough outing tonight.
- Bad penalties from Edmonton late in the game. 
-Ty Long welcome to the CFL you'll have to be better next time.
-Edmonton will be dangerous regardless this season because their offense is so good.
-BC will be a good team but I'm not sure if they're a great team. Jenning still has room to grow as a QB.
 
 

I thought it was a reach for TSN to award Durant with player of the game. TSN's Honorable mention Mincy should have got it. 
As much as I don't like Jones (and I really don't), what Durant did right at the end of the game motioning at the Rider sideline confirms why I've never liked Durant. I would have counted my lucky stars, congratulated who I needed to congratulate and got the h#ll off that field after Crappyinga missing a field goal he needs to make. Durant was a perfect fit in roughrider land, so glad they picked up Carter, at least they have to deal with that now. 

Most abused challenge by far. If they are going to keep it, maybe adopt something like the NHL is pondering with offside challenges, i.e., failed challenge results in 2 minute minor. How about a failed PI challenge results in 15 yard penalty and loss of down. Oh and I still think they should institute you have thirty seconds once the play has been whistled dead to call a challenge. 30 seconds up, play can't be challenged.

That is very enjoyable to watch. How long before the 'win with some class' comes out this season? 
It would also be nice too see a good flareup between him and Carter on the sideline first game into the season. 

I want no mercy for the Riders. a season of 0-18 with every loss by a minimum of 20 is what I hope for that club every year!

It's been a long time that we can maneuver our roster because of talent, not in spite of it.

At a key position it sure can hinder. I'd rather be meh at half back, nose quard, safety than at linebacker.

That's exactly where he should stay. The linebacker position can't be trumped by flexibility in this case. Be flexible somewhere else.

This is a great idea.  Need to turn the younger generation into Bomber fans to convert them into life long fans.

I would modify this a bit and say some people 'adopt' a certain ideology because they are lazy thinkers with no critical thinking skills, have had a horrible upbringing mixed with certain genetic and environmental dispositions (this is my provocative statement of the day).
My description of this type of person happens across the whole continuum of left middle right. Then what happens, (Ted Koppel expressed this when talking with Sean Hannity), these same people are encouraged/targeted to place this adopted ideology over actual fact. Again this way of operating is not reserved for any certain type of ideology. The big however though is the trump administration, it's media outlets and it's 38% (+ or -3) support base have really committed and gone all in on this process.

You just know nothing will come of Comey's testimony regardless of it's significance. 
SNL got it right when they reenacted Lester Holt's interview with Trump a while back.

Spent two days posting on Breitbart.   Like entering a parallel universe, albeit a white supremacist one.   Unbelievably xenophobic, racist and antisemitic.   For simply asking some questions...... within several hours I was called the following:

Did not include the plethora of the real unprintable comments and insults, that I would not simply be able to post on this site.   Funny thing is, that in the end, only one person had their account shut down - Myself....for "trolling"!!   Never mind all those strident insults and threats falling on my head.  Whatever...
Afterwards, took a hot shower and a cold gin.....and felt much better.
 
 

How about Matt Dunigan?
My level of respect for him has increased ever since he went full disclosure of the impacts concussions have had on him and his family and his genuine love for CFL football evident in his broadcasts. Sort of the yes we need to make this game as safe as possible but never stop balling hard. I love watching games he does the colour.
