Nah. That made perfect sense 11 years ago and it still does now. 1.0 and 2.0 being separate franchises doesn't change the fact it's Winnipeg's hockey history and legacy that matter, hence sticking with the name that had the broadest appeal.
However, what Adidas and its designers continue to do with these lousy jerseys (Aviator, 80s RR, 90s RR) is another story. They're needlessly trying to reinvent the wheel when all they had to do was embrace nostalgia.

This is not a joking matter. We are using humor to cope and drive home factual points.
Unfortunately though humor I find is not built into the DNA of knuckle draggers.
For example, most (not all) good stand-up comedians aren't lunatics waving the Trump flag around.

Social responsibility, greater public good are weird terms for knuckle draggers to wrap their head around.
For example:
'Public Health Measures (Editors note: based in factual ever evolving science) does not apply to me if I so choose, that's my right dictator'.

It's always the same thing. Say outlandish things but when questioned just deflect "well I never said I believes that just asking questions" people think it makes them clever but it's painfully transparent. You hold some insane beliefs and are uncomfortable with being called out for it. 
Like follow this freedumb logic all the way down... does the government have the right to tell me I need to be 18 to enter a bar? Do they have the right to tell me I need a piece of paper to drive a car? Where does it end? What you are talking about is anarchy and that doesn't work.

PP loves you. Adores you. Ignorant, by your own admission, and just going along with PP because he says things you like. 

You have no idea what you are talking about. On one hand you say you don't know much about pollievre and then on the other you say he is standing up for the little guy. You are a fascists dream. You believe whatever crap you are fed. No one had their rights taken away. That's just something selfish dumb people say to justify their selfish dumb behaviors. 
 

No one is joking. We're just living this "freedumb" nightmare. It's not at all about personal rights. It's about their own, selfish position. They want personal freedom at the expense of everyone else's freedom. They're fine to trade.

Unprovoked attacks on “the media” to present phoney oppression. It’s the conservative way.
Never mind the fact that the majority of Canadian media is owned by right-wing interests, Postmedia being the most biased, and owning almost all the newspapers in the country. 

One of many common traits PP has with DT is they both have NO sense of humor. None. Can't self-deprecate in any sort of funny way, can easily give out their rage but can't take anything in that may show them in a less than stellar light. 
When's the last time anyone has seen DT or PP really laugh?
Having no sense of humor (and I would add not liking animals) tells you everything you need to know about a person. Wasn't Trump the first US President not take in a family pet . . .

Some gooders but some real ugly ones, too.

Yeah, I’m a big Lowry fan too, but seeing him in OT was surprising.  At first I thought maybe he was just out there to win the draw and get possession.
It was an interesting decision because you generally don’t play those 2 thinking they will go out and score, so you’re basically putting them out there to defend… Which could be interpreted as playing not to lose as opposed to playing to win.
I’m not for it or against it, necessarily, but it was a bold choice by Arniel and I’m glad it worked for him.

Apples had been having a great gaje to that point. It was a nice tip of the cap to him, to get placed on the top line to start the game and he lived up to the expectations, I thought, which earned him a spot in OT. I have no problems with the decision and don't think it was THAT surprising. Send out the guys who will **** down that top unit for COL and let them hustle their way into a scoring opportunity, which is exactly wjay happened. "Apple Turnover" (heh) back the other way and goal. Hustle won that game.

The trend with people (not all, but a lot) who inherit lots and lots of money don't realize that simply having lots and lots of money that originally you had nothing to do with other than being born into it doesn't make you smart, clever and wise.
