Hearing McKinnon and Makar not suiting up for the Avs, probably maintenance at this stage of the season but imagine playing the Avs without those two in the lineup? Finishing second wouldn’t be as bad.

Right but we have also other player (s) (D and O) play good defense that have helped us win games suggesting the statement we mainly rely on Helle for defense is a bit flawed.

Sure but 1 of 6 defensemen not to mention the fact of our forwards (trying to) executing their defensive assignments?

That statement always fascinates me when it comes to being a coach and having to make in-game decisions, i.e., it's not working because the player (s) aren't executing their assignments effectively or it's not working because the Defense is effectively shutting us down so we need to adjust?

Whenever I get frustrated and/or disappointed in our Jets/Bombers, I’m going to refer back to this post.

One would think they’re going to come out pretty hard on us tomorrow to atone for that collapse. Hope we make them feel worse about themselves even more.

Imo 1st place is a nice to have not a must have. I’d rather us get all our guys as close to 100% heading into the first game of post season. Ideally having both (securing 1st place and being healthy and ready to go) would be ideal.

Yup that’s why if he needs maintenance to get closer to 100% rest him as much as possible to be ready for post season play.

Some. And we all are on occasion at varying levels (no one has a halo over their head) but some are more consistent with their awful behaviours.
