Self identified Gaslighter who spews absurdness to get a charge out of people says what? Whatever floats your boat.

Ask our local devils advocate poster, he'll let you know it's actually not so deranged because all politicians are equally bad, he'll insinuate you are only offering a one sided thought but take what he says with a grain of salt ending with a lol.
-
But Biden! F Trudeau! Pseudo Criminals! Oh I'm just playing Devils advocate cuz you all just talk in your echo chambers of pretty one-sided thoughts. Take all of this with a grain of salt. lol. I'm clever.

From the Edmonton Sun, letter to the Editor: 'I think it is time for Edmonton voters to correct their voting choices. For years Edmonton was the ONLY place in the province where you could vote communist. Now we have many Edmonton voters who choose to vote socialist. There is only one taxpayer. Voting for the NDP will only bankrupt Alberta. The time has come to retire Notley and her destructive NDP spenders. I believe the UCP under Smith will do great things for Edmonton and all Albertans. Next on the agenda for Edmonton voters will be to get rid of the Liberal Sohi and his bike riding council. Oh and by the way, once Ontario and Toronto voters quit voting Liberal, Albertans will remove the curse put on the Toronto Maple Leafs'. Ken Iskiw A great example of critical thinking, healthy skepticism and just another view point to add to the discussion on who will provide a sound mandate to help all Albertans. C'mon bro.

Q: Okay, now what? A: Nothing. Follow-up by SCOTUS: How dare anyone question our integrity. We are going down a very dangerous path when questioning this body.

Nope disagree. I've come around on this one. In some cases even when a player has his head up (hockey, football as examples), it still puts him in a vulnerable position with limited ability to avoid being blown up and risking serious head (and other) injury. In football, rules changed as my boy played to now penalizing predatory hits even if they were technically legal before. e.g., A few years back my boy was flagged on a play for blowing up a defender that was locked on the player with the ball. The players head was up but didn't matter he was lasered focused on the player he was going to tackle and was in a complete vulnerable position that my boy chose to blow him up. Penalty warranted. I'm sure someone a lot smarter than me could cite a comparable hockey example. This predatory rule has not translated into the pro leagues yet as far as I know. This is the primary reason my boy chose to hang up his cleats at the end of this past season. He told me he was tired of being sore after every practice and more importantly he doesn't want to be dealing with CTE as he ages into adulthood. Pretty good reason we need things in place like this predatory rule for minimizing longer term effects and to help recruit and keep athletes playing.

His last paragraph is the best: 'It is possible, of course, to make a play on the puck or the player, especially one who doesn’t see you coming, without blowing them up. Wherever the league ultimately wants to draw the line on such hits, it ought to be on the side of not allowing someone to completely wipe out an unsuspecting opponent. To do otherwise is to endorse brain injuries'.

Winnipeg Jets 2023 Off-Season Thread
HardCoreBlue replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
“My main goal is to win a Stanley Cup,” Hellebuyck said. “I’m starting to run out of time.” Taken from the Hockey News A story by Nick Horwat Not knowing my place, not being appreciative enough of having a NHL team, being way too negative and not understanding it's not realistic to expect a championship for this team at some point, sure wish this quote came from Chevy not Helle. -
God's law has been compromised. Superior Authority that permitted this photo to be shown must be challenged with all our might. But seriously we joke because it's a coping mechanism but all you knuckle draggers out there that hide behind religion to spew and act on your drivel make it bad for good people of faith and/or religion. I'm tired of hearing your absurdness and the danger your causing to the sane collective society of humans who just want to co-exist and at times thrive with one another. In this specific instance whether you know it or not or accept it, this is not a discussion with multiple varying different perspectives that add value. It's sane versus insane. You've chosen your side. Insane absurd dangerous drivel is not 'just another perspective'. ffs

Too bad he's associated with the stink of Florida and what it represents on humanity and how it's being 'led'. Right, this is sports not politics. Sorry wrong thread. Go Leafs? No, even this isn't enough. 🙂

Person leading said country responsible for waging war and destruction on my country then said country is upset at us retaliating against this person who attacked us?

Exhibit A your Honour: From the Canadian Press: Smith has stated it's not OK for politicians and accused persons to discuss active criminal cases, but says her call to Pawlowski was OK because as a politician it's her role to interact and hear from constituents and didn't realize the January call would be about his criminal case and that she thought she would be talking politics with him in his then-role as the head of the fringe Independence Party on Alberta. Angry supporters of Pawlowski attempted to prevent media from talking to the pastor when he was leaving the court on Tuesday, telling reporters to "prepare to meet thy God" and that they would be judged.

I don't know if in this particular instance that's what's the case here. Knuckle dragging men and women aren't going to change their minds if NDP propped up a white male. Sane undecided voters and sane 'I don't like to vote' need to show up to the polls. This is a full scale emergency, this is not a test. There is no room for voter apathy. We will do everything in our power to help you get out and vote. If I was Notley I would be saying this out loud to that specific group.

2023 CFL Draft Discussion
HardCoreBlue replied to Super Duper Negatron's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Saw him up close as my son's first year with U of A was last year as well played with him his first year of high school football. Great guy, great teammate, humble. -
Yea exactly, where do knuckle draggers think this money is coming from? They better do some digging and jump on the internet, ie Rebel ‘news’.

Taken from a story by Jim Parsons NHL Talk quoting Jonathan Huberdeau: He noted, “You’re supposed to put your players in a position to succeed and I think this season he didn’t do that.” He later added: “They gave me a big contract… Gave (Nazem) Kadri one too, but I was disappointed that I wasn’t put in situations where I could have as much success as possible.” These comments tend to agree with reviews of Sutter’s work that he gave priority to grinders and third-line players when he should have been focused on the skill sets of his most offensively dynamic stars. He continued: “It really didn’t click between me and Darryl last year. There were a lot of factors. There was a big difference in points between my last two years. And the style of play he wanted to play, it didn’t fit my style of game… Having a new coach is going to help my game and my confidence, too.” Fair enough though throwing the coach under the bus can be just as bad as the reverse happening, no? Depends I guess on the specific situation in this messy world of Sport. On the one hand, JH is confident in his abilities and wants to be on the ice more in crucial situations when it mattered the most that's what he's paid for and how he contributes. The stats show his icetime and situations changed from his time with the Panthers to his first year with the Flames. On the other hand, this is a team game and they need to buy into the coach's system and play accordingly both mentally and physically (DS has won two cups) because that's what the Coaching team believes will get them to success with the existing talent they have. So to break this down it will be interesting to hear what comes out of JH's mouth at the end of the 2023/2024 season if the new coach gives everything JH wants, i.e., icetime and crucial situations barring injury or any other unforeseen circumstance and: He succeeds individually and the Flames succeed (Sort of I told you so situation) He falters but the Flames succeed (Hmmmm interesting) He falters and the Flames falter (Scooby Doo Ruh Roh)

But apparently to people who hide who they really are and use social media to their advantage to mock and patronize by liberally using CAPS anyone who dismisses these four categories as simplistic drivel by yelling that you idiots aren't appreciating the 'fact' that everyone is bad, these are just other 'viewpoints' so stop being divisive living in your echo chambers of fellow libtards. Critical thinkers from all walks of lives and political/social ideologies that are life long learners who believe in individual freedoms and rights meshed with civic responsibilities are now considered libtards, radical thought police WOKE lefties ruining all that was 'good'. This is where we currently are.

DS campaigning on huge tax cuts, F Trudeau and I don’t take follow-up questions. Okay what services and jobs will be cut as a result?
-
There are so many good faith people from all walks of lives and religions I so admire up close and from afar but not so much admiration for others who use religion and faith to spew nonsense and hide behind to do their bad deeds. I remember passing this church and seeing this on their billboard: 'When in doubt choose faith over understanding'. I think some misuse/misinterpret this mindset in certain scenarios and on certain issues.

Shocking emoticon. Let’s not go to far.

Winnipeg Jets 2023 Off-Season Thread
HardCoreBlue replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
That's why maybe a multi-team player swap makes better sense in getting something useful from Montreal in exchange for #80. Isn't this a perfect example where Chevy needs to show his stuff other than musing how most people don't realize what a great place the Jets are in and how hard it is to make the playoffs and saying things like don't let facts get in your way of a good story? -
Probably a bit multiplying but also more coming out the woodwork showing their true colors because they’re feeling more legitimized and empowered by high status high influence lunatics.

There you have it, clear as day. Healthy skepticism matched with high levels of critical thinking that takes into consideration the complexities, backgrounds and experiences of very heterogenous communities: Corrupt civil servants, basically antichrists, are taking away our God-Given unalienable rights. We need to resist this superior authority because it conflicts with God's Law. Church must lead state to protect the innocent. Oh yea, one is being divisive and living in an echo chamber if this is not being taken serious as a viable platform to help our communities.
-
Hey it's just another viewpoint. Don't be so divisive. Can't we all just get along.
-
From what certain posters here and others elsewhere have posted concerning our recent public health emergency, healthy skepticism means something different to you than it does to me. Healthy Skepticism, critical thinking, individual rights/freedoms balanced with social responsibility: I'm not sure I want to put these substances into my body I have some distrust so I choose not to but I will do the responsible thing and ensure I keep myself safe and others safe during this pandemic as much as I can and know I can't frequent certain places that require people to be vaccinated but at some point this will pass where there will be no more restrictions due to me choosing not to take the vaccine. I am also very consistent and am very cautious with any other medical care I need that requires infusion of substances into my body. Selfish perspective with little critical thinking with little to no social responsibility balanced with individual rights and freedoms: governmentally controlled substance forced onto me, pharmaceutical companies have created this made up pandemic, my individual freedoms, my personal rights, no one tells me what I can or can not do, freedom of speech I'm being censured, My rights don't end at your fears, 99% of people did not die from this pandemic, there is something sinister going on here I did my research Theo Fleury and Jamie Sale are patriots giving us a voice. All other medical and non medical unknown substances that get pumped into my body by me and/or others is fine just not the ones for this made up pandemic.
