  1. Laine pots his first goal as a Jacket.
  2. Wasn’t only taking about politicians.
  3. It’s absolutely embarrassing how some can glide right over his immense grossness of a human being and it’s tremendous negative impact that it has had with a shrug, a weak acknowledgement that he’s not that great of a guy while defaulting/deflecting to whataboutism.
  4. This is real?! Wow. How did this earth not blow up with him in command.
  5. It's seems to be moving away from fringe and moving more and more toward mainstream base for the QOP formerly known as the GOP. Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon had good segments on it last night.
  6. Yup and not to mention how wide open Gaudreau was open on the play. Knowing the Flames had an extra skater on the ice but jeez wouldn't Gaudreau command a little more attention and awareness of where he is on the ice.
  7. Recently the Jets are a good example of the cliche playing not to lose versus playing to win.
  8. A worrying trend over the last few games.
  9. All in plain site since day one of Trump's tenure. It's suffocating and maddening to watch.
  10. The last time I saw Patrik Laine live was a game the Jets were playing the Oilers here in Edmonton (a couple of years ago I think). I was sitting behind the net wearing my game worn Winnipeg Jets #25 Thomas Steen Jersey surrounded by Oiler fans feeling pretty good about myself until Laine shelved the puck top corner . . . into our net. For the rest of the game I was shown the reply over and over again on Oiler fans phones. Thanks for the memories PL.
  11. Apparently we are told by a few here that all this about Trump, his administration, the GOP, his family, his supporters is vastly overstated regardless of what's caught on video, audio, documentation and/or in-person. Yea he's not the greatest but what about (insert whoever), all you here live in an echo chamber not willing to listen to the 'other side' so blinded by your hatred of Trump (insert usually a condescending laugh or joke). Did I get that right?
  12. That was THE worst shift of Morrisey I’ve seen. Happens.
  13. Take all of this hot mess of criminality thru the courts not congress as we really don’t want the accused being the judges here.
  14. Golf clap, standing ovation, preach.
  15. I think we are learning more and more of the reasons behind Sen. Dianne Feinstein's frustrating complicit behaviour with the GOP and spoiler alert it's not only because she is 203 years young.
  16. Jared Yates Sexton on Twitter nails it. 'Never, ever underestimate how willing the wealthy and powerful are to shamelessly shed their espoused principles in a moment’s notice when it means protecting their wealth and power'.
  17. I'm starting to think that if one of the senators were killed on the January 6th attack it still wouldn't change the trajectory of the GOP. They have past the point of no return.
  18. Man if he and others like Copp/Lowry can step up their game while bringing in Dubois it sure does dampen the sting of losing Laine.
  19. Why are people in the US Congress called lawmakers? It gives some of them way more legitimacy then they deserve.
  20. Do you know who’s licking their chops biding their time right now as this all unfolds? The articulate intelligent wackjobs who are coming up right behind Trump thinking if dum dum Trump and his equally stupid enablers can almost pull this off with little to no real consequence felt, imagine what we can do with this broken system.
  21. Where is she wrong on this? She's bang on.
  22. Lol. This is where I met my now Wife. Yelp.
  23. Tom Nichols on Twitter: I am so done with these inane stories. "He thinks water is made of hydrogen and oxygen. She thinks water is unicorn pee that has been filtered through the hair of angels. What can be done to bridge this gap?" Quote Tweet The Associated Press @AP · 2h She thinks the election was stolen from Donald Trump. He believes what dozens of courts and officials have found: that Joe Biden is the rightful winner. They're trying to find common ground but wonder whether they – and the nation – can do it. http://apne.ws/H3X0TOv
  24. It’s like ah that’s ancient history, let’s move forward and unite and we will dictate what that means and we will also rewrite what happened to fit our unintelligent narrative. Bizarre frustrating and maddening how weak the Democrats are and how it seems so easy just to roll over them with little resistance. What a broken system.
