  1. My arm chairing coaching has been saying this for a while now. I hate a collapsed PK box with bodies and sticks in the lanes. It's not working for us. Make them earn their PP goal.
  2. Woke up this morning with with a Jets and Bombers win under our belt, Leaf ‘fans’ jumping ship, ahhhhhh. Balance in the universe would have been completely restored if the Riders would have lost. Don’t be greedy I know.
  3. Knuckle dragging Anti-vaxxers be like 'where's the sheep sign' in their most condescending, smirking, I did my research, muh rights voice.
  4. I'm a Bomber fan c'mon. We're hypersensitive always waiting for the bottom to fall out. Always happens, I'm watching a game freaking out and my wife will pass by and say I assume the Bombers are losing and then she'll look at the score and say they're winning why are you acting this way? Because I need to hear that final whistle with our point total being more than theirs, then I'll relax. Serenity now.
  5. Exactly. We've seen what happens when you don't establish the run (Please see BC Lions for the most recent example).
  6. Have the Predaturds (well played btw) raised a banner yet this year?
  7. Chris Johnston ✔@reporterchris Mark Scheifele entered COVID-19 after testing positive yesterday morning. He's asymptomatic and has since tested negative. If he produces another negative test, he's eligible to come out of protocol and play tonight vs. Anaheim. WTF is with these Covid tests. Jeebus.
  8. Yea definitely not a banner start but let’s reconvene after 15 to 20 and see if we have to hold off on the parade till next year.
  9. Yup free to choose anything but not free of it's consequences good, bad or indifferent.
  10. His tweet about how much he has sacrificed as a family man and how much he has sacrificed to the people of Edmonton to win a GC and how many people have supported him with his beliefs, gag. It all makes much more sense now with his ridiculous flex's. Look how much I sacrificed to get this three yard gain. Flex.
  11. Ask Karen and Todd on the internet, they'll tell you. They've done some research.
  12. If Cass says time and space again I’m going to scream.
  13. Totally disagree with commentator saying Helle been really really good tonight. He’s been average by his standards. Too deep in his crease imo.
  14. Not a goalie expert but why didn’t Helle come out and challenge? Too tight in his net.
  15. A professional would start with I need to be better.
  16. Right or wrong commonly used football term to describe walking into the end zone untouched as long back as I can remember.
  17. Indoctrinated wife? Hmmm tell me more. I’m working on a few other non related sport issues that need buy-in.
  18. Recipe for disaster: start with a very limited critical thinking skill set influenced heavily by a variety of social, economic and health determinants and add in full access to the World Wide Web. The result? Disaster.
  19. Nope no contradiction read the full post again. You forgot to mention the part about dependent on our won lost record and who the player is, i.e., in this case a 31 year old American (Ratio issue) CFL unproven rookie. Sometimes it feels you can be overly protective of WBB Players, Coaches and Management. I get it we love and adore our team thru thick and thin. There are definitely fairweather arm chair QG 'fans' who lurk here. Loyal fans here would agree. However they would also agree it's okay to disagree and/or question certain moves made by the WBB because these really is no clear right answer. Frequently ending a debate by saying they're the professional coaches so you're wrong sometimes doesn't address the question being posed. This recent kicking issue of ours is a great example of that.
  20. Also this argument about running players out of town. Not from a professional coaches perspective but from posters here, when is it running them out of town or cutting them because they’re bad and we don’t have the luxury of developing them to be less bad to getting better? Right, it’s subjective so based on his body of work to date I wouldn’t say this falls into running him out of town. By CFL standards if you are going to bring in a 31 year old American kicker unfortunately the rope has to be short due to ratio. The only reason he is still around is we are 8 and 1, we have been pounding teams of late and he hasn’t cost us a game yet. He would be a distant memory if any of these things were different. If he lights it up next week great but it won’t be a I told you so. It will be because he’s playing on the best team by far in the league where you may have more luxury figuring out potential.
