Chris Jones will do that...this is what he has done since leaving Sask...I just don't know why he keeps getting chances:
 
Cleveland Browns
On January 15, 2019, one week after signing a contract extension with the Roughriders, Jones resigned from the Roughriders to take a two-year contract with the Cleveland Browns as their Senior Defensive Specialist.After one season, Jones was removed from the coaching staff with the hire of new head coach Kevin Stefanski and placed in an office position for the 2020 season.
South Pittsburg High School
In April 2021, Jones was named the head coach of his high school Alma Mater, the South Pittsburg Pirates in Marion County, Tennessee. He notably ended the school's nearly century-old rivalry game with neighboring Marion County High School for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, in part due to suspicions that a Marion County fan turned South Pittsburg in for recruiting violations during the 2020 season, resulting in South Pittsburg being placed on probation. Jones resigned from the position on September 13 after coaching only one game, a win against Sequatchie County High School, in order to return to a defensive position with the Toronto Argonauts.
Return to CFL
On September 21, 2021, the Toronto Argonauts announced they had hired Chris Jones as a defensive consultant. Two months later, on December 21, 2021, it was announced that Jones had returned to Edmonton to become the head coach and general manager of the renamed Edmonton Elks.

I'd be scouring their PR for any moves or shuffling they did....typical of a Jones run team...they may park someone there who is actually worthwhile grabbing, and who would say no to being plucked from there??...

WTF happened?!

Rick Campbell is a very good coach - prob second best in the CFL.  They came prepared and executed their game plan.  They have their own version of FIFO going and it showed when they released Kongbo for not fitting in the locker room. 
while I didn't care for the outcome and games like that do happen the lack of halftime adjustments and push back from the Bombers is a bit concerning - especially at home.  I think we are lacking some talent in key positions on defence and hopefully MOS and Walters have a plan to improve roster talent and not just rely on these guys learning (I suspect the latter is what will happen).
The o-line has stepped up in the past when having a bad game so I expect that will happen again.
Realistically we should win the next 4 games but man our defence has to show it can shut down a game when needed.  Lawrence is getting picked on over and over.
 
 

Desmond Laurence had got beat real bad the last two games.  Would love to see how many yards he had given up. 
willie has still been decent, he is playing almost every snap though.  Rookies are gonna cost you though - they make mistakes and cause others to compensate for them making their play less effective. 

My 2 cents Halls defence needs pressure and our D-line is not good enough to give what he needs. 
IF we improved the D-line the LB's and DB's would be improved

Argos. I always cheer for eastern teams over western teams. unless the western team is from Winnipeg.

Anything that gets Jones out of the CFL is fine by me, another loss tonight and he's well on his way

Who are we cheering for tonight?  I am reluctantly on the Argos boat for this one...the "city of champions" home losing streak is just too juicy to end...plus Chris Jones is just so unlikable.
lil bit tough to cheer for the Argos though TBH.

Next week time to go 1-0. I expect a better roster and effort.

Huge loss for the Stamps:
Stampeders’ receiver Malik Henry out for season with ruptured Achilles: The Calgary Stampeders will be without star receiver Malik Henry for the remainder of the 2023 season after he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon

Apologies if this is breaking some MBB protocol ...it's time to move on to the next game...I don't know the practice schedule for this week but it will be interesting to see if there were any injuries or other changes in the lineup.  
 
We will prob never know for sure what happened to the o-line last game - was it just BC trying harder? A specific scheme that gave us trouble (and now all teams are going to try it) but I am pretty confident they will bounce back.
I believe Rick Campbell is a great coach - jason Maas not so much..Stanback is a beast and that moves on to concerns about the defense and the matchups this week...I think the oline will sort itself out and the offense overall- defense I am legit worried.  I don't think the talent is there, willie is more effective on a rotation and Laurence hasn't shown he can cover 1a or 1b level receiver yet. 
 
Right now I am thinking this game will be close, maybe a last minute FG wins or loses it.
