Milt Stegall Right On Today's Pregame Show On MOS
Now you've given me reason for a week's worth of nightmares.

And this week's Hoser Award goes to .....
Stop asking us embarrassing questions that make us uncomfortable and weepy.

Matt Nichols is the worst starting QB in the CFL
We will not know good or bad our receivers are until we have a quarterback who can read, react and deliver the ball. That said why O'Shea is not using our two promising Canuck receivers (Peterman and Simonise) instead of Thompkins and Washington is beyond me. They may not be all-stars yet but they deserve a shot. Another example of poor coaching decisions.

LDC/Banjo Bowl
Be honest- if the Bombers had won in that fashion, you would still be celebrating.

And they built teams that beat vaunted teams from the west.

If O'Shea has anything to say about it, yes.

I also feel sorry for Nichols. He is not the anal aperture like Casey Printers but this is a results-driven process, and he has lost something and is not the same quarterback of last year.

Probably not. He will ascribe it to just not having been given enough time. Like problem gamblers for whom the gambling is not the problem, its the lack of more money.

I think you overestimate O'Shea's willingness to adapt. I quote Red Green,"Everything can be fixed with duct tape. If that doesn't fix things, you are not using enough duct tape."

Apparently not to O'Shea.

If the Copper Kettle downtown is still around, they used to be pretty good.

Practise Observations Aug 30, 2018
Insulting the opposition team, their fans and their city is par for the course. For example, when I was passing through Regina a few months ago, we stopped at Costco there for gas and to stretch our legs. The wife (she who will be obeyed) found an item she liked and we lined up at the cashier. The lady ahead of us was a pretty average (for Saskatchewan) looking gal but when she got to the checkout she smiled at the cashier, the scanner immediately rang up a set of cookware..

I vote for "misguided loyalty mixed with rigid thinking"

LDC/Banjo Bowl
The problem is not just Hall, but the fact that O'Shea will not replace him. And now the offence has gone MIA.

There had better be some changes. The offence has been flaccid for too long and the Bomber offence will be facing one of the best defensive coaches in the CFL

LDC/Banjo Bowl
Its not just the losses that have put O'Shea on the hot seat. Its the downward trajectory this year, two consecutive blowouts going into the LDC/Banjo Bowl series, his (at least perceived) unwillingness to dump unproductive coaches and players and questionable player management. None of these are fatal by themselves but they do add up to problems. If the Bombers get blown out in Regina and lose again in the Banjo Bowl, O'Shea and Co. are in trouble.
