  1. O'Day is going to have a steep learning curve and Micah Johnson is one example.
  2. Money can't buy you happiness, but it can make misery a lot more comfortable.
  3. Well, it has provided me with a living, or rather used to. Mostly retired now.
  4. I am and have been for years, an internationally accredited substance abuse professional.
  5. And if you have really been heavily into ditchweed for a long time, you can test positive for a year or more.
  6. Or that he has a limited conversational range.
  7. Once you start researching, there is an incredible amount of information out there on the internet and locally in the body-building community. I have no doubt that there are people in Winnipeg that will formulate the stuff for you for the right price.
  8. The only way that Harris is going to be completely vindicated would be for him to produce a clearly unopened container of the supplement he claims was responsible and, in the presence of a disinterested credible third party, take the container to a lab and have it tested. However, even if it was untainted, Harris could claim that the contamination was obviously a random event at the source, making the test irrelevant. In my experience, a positive test is pretty conclusive, if it was a gas-chromatography mass spectrometer test. There was obviously cause to suspect Harris and he put his hand into the cookie jar once too often.
  9. We may be considered underdogs with all the turmoil and injuries going up against a relatively healthy Rider team, but that is not all bad. If our side pulls together in the face of adversity and beats the Greenies, particularly if it is a lopsided win, that should deflate them pretty good.
  10. A part of the motivation for this decision might have been to send a message to our other import receivers that no one is untouchable.
  11. We knew that signing Bowman last year was a stretch, but Matthews should still be in his prime as a receiver at 29. How could someone fall so far so fast? That he hasn't been grabbed immediately by one of the talent-poor teams has to say a lot about him. Too bad.
  12. Putting all your eggs in one basket is rarely a good idea.
  13. This Matthews thing was probably like an infected tooth- it hurts to have it pulled but once it is done, you can start healing and get on with life.
  14. The helmet tells the story.
  15. The numbers are not the absolute determinant of how much of an impact the presence of a player makes.
  16. With your permission, I will put you both on my prayer list. Having been through this sort of thing once, my heart is with you both.
  17. I confess that I was a bit rattled by Matthews' release coming so soon after the Harris debacle. I was excited to see him signed by the Bombers, but between injuries, lackadaisical performance on the field, and his salary, I do not know if the team had much choice. I am hoping that these two events do not unsettle the team to the point where we get swept by the Riders. WE do not know all the behind-the-scenes stuff, and Walters has done a damned good job of managing the roster. I also hold some hope that there is a coup signing soon.
  18. This hit took five years off Szarka's life span and 10 points off his IQ.
  19. Streveler
  20. Lotds good options.
  21. AKA being forced to live in Regina.
  22. I was thinking that his face had gotten a lot rounder.
  23. Are you forgetting Naaman Roosevelt?
  24. Quebec city should be a natural. There would be the rivalry with Montreal and in the past decade or so, there have been a lot of good CFL players coming out of La Belle Province.
