  1. A damning whistleblower complaint details the ‘tragic’ blunders of Jared Kushner’s coronavirus task force: report Written by Alex Henderson May 5, 2020 The phrase “coronavirus task force” is usually used in connection with the group that is headed by Vice President Mike Pence and includes medical experts such as Dr. Deborah Birx and immunologist Dr. Anthony Fauci. But a separate task force, headed by White House Senior Adviser Jared Kushner, has used private-sector companies for coronavirus-related efforts — and according to a whistleblower complaint, things are not going well. https://www.alternet.org/2020/05/a-damning-whistleblower-complaint-details-the-tragic-blunders-of-jared-kushners-coronavirus-task-force-report/
  2. If you think that it was a deliberate revelation by Trump, you would be wrong. He is like a rabid ferret on meth and trying to credit him with logic is pointless.
  3. Trump’s crazypants new plan to win the 2020 election is cruel and stupid — and won’t work: Written by Bob Cesca / Salon May 5, 2020 19 Every ridiculous action taken by Donald Trump makes a little more sense when viewed through the prism of re-election. Every terrible decision, every whiny outburst, every childish tweet is issued with the goal of helping Trump get re-elected, and of course re-election explains his horrifyingly incompetent response to the COVID-19 pandemic. https://www.alternet.org/2020/05/trumps-crazypants-new-plan-to-win-the-2020-election-is-cruel-and-stupid-and-wont-work/

  5. CNN Accuses Trump Campaign of ‘False, Misleading, and Deceptive’ Edit of Its Footage Tom Sykes Published May. 05, 2020 5:11AM ET Kevin C. Cox CNN has accused the Trump re-election campaign of misusing CNN news coverage in a way that’s “false, misleading, and deceptive.” The network issued a cease-and-desist letter in response to a new Trump ad, titled “American Comeback,” which edits a segment from CNN’s The Situation Room to suggest that Wolf Blitzer and a guest, Sanjay Gupta, were crediting the president’s travel ban policy issued in January for saving millions of American lives, “when in fact Mr. Blitzer and Dr. Gupta were discussing recently implemented social-distancing guidelines and stay-at-home orders issued by state and local governments.” The Trump campaign has said “the ad is accurate,” said CNN was “the only outlet” to reject the ad and called the news network “effectively a Joe Biden super PAC.”
  6. But she made an asp of herself and is in DeNile about it.
  7. Trump admits he was briefed on coronavirus before declaring a “hoax” and jetting off on golf trips The intelligence briefings “reflected a level of attention comparable to . . . tracking active terrorism threats" MAY 4, 2020 3:29PM (UTC) President Donald Trump admitted that he was briefed about the new coronavirus in January before calling decrying the Democrats' "hoax" and jetting off to golf trips the following weeks. Trump made the comment ahead of a Bloomberg News report that the intelligence community briefed the president about the virus twice in January. The Washington Post previously reported that intelligence agencies issued warnings in more than a dozen classified briefings to Trump in January and February.
  8. Trump’s Pick for Intelligence Chief Follows a Slew of QAnon Accounts LIBERTY CROSSING John Ratcliffe’s campaign Twitter account follows Pizzagaters, JFK Jr. conspiracists, and a 9/11 Truther account with just one follower besides himself. Spencer Ackerman For a nominee to helm the U.S. government’s intelligence apparatus, Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas) draws on some unusual sources of information. Ratcliffe’s official, verified campaign Twitter account follows several accounts on the political fringe, including a 9/11 truther account with just one follower besides himself and four promoting the outlandish QAnon conspiracy theory, which posits that the world is run by a cabal of Democratic pedophile-cannibals—and has been ruled a potential source of domestic terrorism by the FBI.
  9. The signs show Trump is growing increasingly disconnected from reality Almost three and a half years into Trump’s presidency, it has become almost blasé to talk about his ubiquitous lies. According to the fact-checkers at the Washington Post, as of April 3rd, he has told 18,000 in 1,170 days, for an average of more than 15 per day. What is even more disturbing: He’s getting worse. https://www.alternet.org/2020/05/the-signs-show-trump-is-growing-increasingly-disconnected-from-reality/
  10. Wimp.
  11. Who says Trump doesn't have a sense of humour? New York: 18,909 deaths. México (entire country): 2154 deaths. Really PENDEJO? Really?...
  12. Try Canadian Tire on St. James Street- bought some there yesterday and there were lots.
  13. And why not?
  14. Trump's alma mater, the Wharton School, has released a new model which projects that reopening the states now will result in 233,000 additional deaths from the virus by the end of June. Since many states will not completely reopen and others will stay locked down for some time, the actual number probably won't be that bad. But make no mistake — it's going to go up, possibly way up, as states open up willy-nilly and many individuals decide they aren't going to bother with social distancing guidelines anymore. It's already happening. Trump's business genius is at it again.
  15. In all seriousness, is there anyone in the Trump administration who actually is competent? On a related, but sad note, I had my ears lowered this morning at a new barber who still had Trump memorabilia all over his shop. Worse yet, he was playing C&W music and I could feel my IQ falling with every song.
  16. But he is a "Pinto".
  17. To repeat: there are no depths to which Trump and his enablers are willing to sink and will do so in plain sight.
  18. Trump Says 80,000-100,000 Americans Will Die, Calls That a ‘Success’ President Trump on Sunday radically revised upward his estimate of how many Americans would die from the novel coronavirus, saying that anywhere between 80,000 and 100,000 people could die—after he cited a death toll of 50,000 to 60,000 roughly two weeks ago. “That’s one of the reasons we’re successful, if you call losing 80 or 90 thousand people successful,” Trump said in a Fox News town hall at the Lincoln Memorial. https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-says-80-90000-americans-will-die-calls-that-a-success

  20. To no one's surprise: China Concealed ‘Severity’ of Virus to Hoard Medical Supplies: Intel Report China “intentionally concealed the severity” of the coronavirus in the early days of the outbreak so the country could hoard medical supplies such as face masks and gloves for itself, according to a Department of Homeland Security intelligence report obtained by the Associated Press. Chinese officials ramped up imports of medical supplies while limiting shipments of their stock by “denying there were export restrictions and obfuscating and delaying provision of its trade data,” a report analysis states. The country sought to hide information in January from the World Health Organization that the virus “was a contagion” so it could stock up on protective equipment, the report further alleges. https://www.thedailybeast.com/china-concealed-severity-of-virus-to-hoard-medical-supplies-intelligence-report-says?ref=home
