Starting to look like a butt-kicking is looming. ZERO effort on that kick coverage, and that was one of the Bomber strengths.

Adams is on a heater, Bomber secondary cannot be described without profanity, Calgary's d-line is looking very solid and Bomber O-line is iffy, so Bombers will be lucky to avoid a blowout. But hope springs eternal.

I also have a difficult time feeling sorry for Dalke- for his family, friends, teammates and the victim and his loved ones, yes. Dalke made a choice to get high- probably never planned any of this but he doubtless had been doing this for a while. An object lesson which will be preaching to the choir but little impact elsewhere. Farjardo is an example of a talented athlete who is a whiny dink.

I find it very ironic that two of the three best teams have quarterbacks that are essentially retreads who couldn't stick elsewhere.

Dejon Allen was cut by BC. Think the Trinity will bring him on? They could move Jerrel Broxton to LT & put Allen at RT which would be an instant improvement. But probably not. Do you think he could cut the mustard?

Let's find out. If Eli is permanently damaged goods, we need to look elsewhere. He may have some trade value.

Given O'Shea's tendency to play favourites at the expense of the team's success and Eli's college resume, I would be confident in thinking that Eli has never had a good shot at being a starter. Let Eli play himself into a consistent starter's role at center or move on. God knows, there is no way he could be worse than Kolankowski or Elsbury.

At the beginning of the season Ellsbury was not great but out of position and a rookie. I thought he had the physical tools and needed seasoning to flourish, but last night, he was brutal against a D-line that was not all that good. Wallace struggled as well, but it occurs to me that maybe our center and left guard were bad because Wallace was trying to cover for Ellsbury, much as Neufeld tried to cover for Kolankowski for the past few years. I have no freaking idea why Eli is not at center but it has come down to desperation before Brown gets seriously killed.

How the heck can an import center be as bad as or worse than Kolankowski? Another baffling choice by O'Shea.

Bombers didn't deserve the win, but here we are. O'Shea will use this to claim that all is just peachy-keen.
