  1. I saw a clip of that from both championships and it’s freakin awesome. Stuck in Alberta but I hope tomorrow night IGF belts out 🎶O’Sheaaa O’Shea O’Shea O’Sheaaaaa 🎶
  2. I loved when Marcus Sayles absolutely obliterated Spitty McEyeGouge at Commonwealth one year. I didn’t actively wish injury on the guy but the horrific scream he let out was him getting his due. The whole place went deathly quiet as he lay there with one arm pointed an totally unnatural angle…
  3. Awards or no, the talking heads want to make it sound like the Bombers championship was a fluke…. Only thing I liked was after the WF Jim Barker talked about how he was with the Ticats and how overwhelmingly physical the Bombers were (and still are). If anything the Bombers are even stronger without half the team on iv drips from flu like last time. Almost no one is talking about that. We got em right where we want em
  4. Ooh! What about “ The Optically Dysfunctional Non-Frontal Path of Approach” ? Too wordy?
  5. I’m pretty sure everyone who read Speedflex’s comment knew he meant thrown in anger/retaliatory. Please book the next available appointment at your local argument clinic…
  6. First priority for Osh as All-star coach is fifo Patrick “guaranteed win” Levels the f*ck outta there
  7. Ok I can’t believed I missed Bailey reaching for the West Division trophy… More importantly did anyone successfully swat his hands away from the damned thing! Anyone?!
  8. As long as the good guys win is what I truly care about… but that’s a good score. My sports superstition makes me want a good controlled victory in the WF and then unleash the hounds in the Grey Cup
  9. Definitely noticed how the majority of the press and dramatics are about the Riders. It’s going to make the tears and handwringing that much better. Bombers are both Champions and consummate pros. They don’t need the press and wannabe journalists/bloggers rationalizing ad nauseam as to why they’re worthy. Bombers only focus is to go out and execute. Funny how only Tait and the Bombers themselves acknowledge this… must make for bad click bait 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. I’d prefer IGF Prime rather than IGF East for our stadium. No way I want Canada’s toilet bowl mistaken as being on equal footing to the home of the Blue Bombers 😤
  11. Guy loves shoving his cleats in his mouth. Now I’m torn between wanting to see Banks cry and Levels getting told
  12. Sign me up for Strevelation The Sequel. Until it hasn’t happened, it could happen… will enjoy that for the time being!
  13. Jefferson and Bighill were among those sitting out, along with BA after his injury scare
  14. We’re now at a time when “veteran back up” means guys like Pipkin, Harker etc…. Potentials like Caleb Evans, Maier and Arbuckle will want chances to be starters. McGuire had a horrible outing in pouring rain and with all guards for an OL. Definitely would be ok with him getting well-timed opportunities next year with the full starting offence and playbook. Not saying he’s automatically the future but I always think of Anthony Calvillo and the Sacramento Goldminers getting steamrolled by a Dunigan-led Bombers in the mid 90’s. How many people wrote him off as a never-will-be (me included). Just saying sometimes management sticks with someone for a reason and it works out every now and then.
  15. Now that the Bombers’ kicking problems are solved this is the nagging doubt no one wants to talk about…
  16. Hamilton continues to be the most overrated team in the CFL. Last three wins were over Ottawa, Edmonton and BC. You play the teams on the schedule but come on… Bombers don’t get the 2-3 win record inflating gimmes vs Ottawa and still can’t quite shake that Rodney Dangerfield vibe. I love it - no other team comes close and come playoff time the Bombers will “continue showing them that” (cue infamous cgy qb quote)
  17. Cheering for Demerio Houston to have a better game than the last one he started. Clean up the tackling and he’s a decent db. If we lose this one, expect the media and all the other fan bases to forget we played our back ups and write us off lmao.
  18. The Montreal team that showed up last night would have wiped the floor with Sask. One thing about the Larks is they get wrapped up in either reading or making their own press clippings. They beat Toronto one week, then play sloppy against Sask at home. Get pissed off about it come out hungry the next week, but too late now they are 0-1 in a back to back with the reigning Grey Cup champs. The up and down doesn’t help them and that’s on the character of their players and Khari for not enough FIFO.
  19. Fan delusions won’t help the Riders during the playoffs…. I almost encourage it - makes the tears juicier
  20. So far not liking the move of Alford to field side corner. Change one corner ok, but both? Not on Alford but so far hindsight says Jones should have stayed there and find another way to keep Alford involved.
  21. Kind of what I expected actually. Get cancers like Walker and Wilder out of the line up and thing actually improved a bit for Edmonton.
  22. Larks lost to a Sask offence that barely got out of its own way… and even then watching the Montreal D was like watching a Roc Carmicheal and Jeff Hecht greatest whiffs compilation. Last home game of the season and almost all our starters fresh and motivated after a bye…. Alouettes about to experience boss level infinity kind of pain
  23. Jamie Nye on cfl.ca doing his best to rationalize how Montreal can run against the Bombers, conveniently forgetting Stove. He then goes about commending Trevor Harris for still losing to Sask… but that’s ok because no one wants to talk about how he sucked eggs the last time he was at IGF… - whoops saw this on the other thread, apologies for the redundant post -
  24. Exactly… sorry not sorry but fair catch is stone cold stupid for the CFL
  25. Agreed. Coming off a bye week I think all the starters play, especially at IGF. Ideally it would be hammer down and then the depth handles the 4th quarter. Gotta stay sharp, and keep feeding off all the momentum gained throughout the season.
