Hard to believe Craig Dickenson was the ST coordinator early on in O’Shea’s tenure here. Maybe he interviewed well and then by the time his contract was up, they FIFO’d him the eff out?

Honestly was relieved for him when he walked away from CFL coaching. Kept thinking I would read in the paper that he’d dropped dead from a rage-induced aneurysm.

Our secondary was in position on almost every play BC managed to make. Taylor made to look bad on a couple of surprisingly savvy plays BC’s Pearson and Rhymes. Other than that the D was fast, sharp and hugely effective. Credit the O for dominating the TOP and keeping our defenders fresh.

The broadcast was completely pro-BC but credit to Farhan for sucking it up post game, unlike halftime when the whole panel was talking as if BC was destined to come back and win big. For whatever reason I thought Suitor was the best he’s been in ages.

Goes to show how deep you have to go to root out bad culture. When Jones was in Sask remember his defenders taking a knee to disrupt opposing hurry up offenses, and then laughing as they headed to the sidelines. So many of those same guys still on that team.

I don’t think the Bombers look past TO… plenty of recent history showing they still to show up and play to FIFO standards to win. Whether or or not BC looks past Ottawa will be very interesting.

As I thought, Argos a collection of names and many careers nearing the end of the line. MBT over Arbuckle mad zero sense last year, even just comparing age and upside. These guys won’t scare to many other teams.

The franchise rebuild situation is similar for sure. Hugely skeptical regarding Chris Jones being the right guy to pull off a Trinity-grade result. GM, head coach and defensive coordinator? Talk about doing lots and none of it well. Players getting signed and cut by the boatload all season long, playing converted positions etc…. I can’t imagine stuff like that helps build a championship locker room culture. Bombers did the front office rebuild the right way. Miller to run the franchise, Walters to build the team, O’Shea to coach, and each vetted and selected in that order. All football men devoted to the CFL. Somehow the board in Edmonton decided that a smarter-than-thou mercenary could moneyball the team back to glory. Guess we will see, or not!

You also forgot defensive coordinator…. Since Chris Jones is all three for the Lk’s that makes him triple dumb
