Yeah that was part of my point...not a good draft year for them..oh well...lol
-
YOu have to think the Rider's get the biggest failing grade in free agency so far this year...sure they re-upped a bunch of their guys, but those guys didn't get it done for them, and Gainey, Soli, Henry, Clarke, aren't world beaters by any means, and all aging...Same with replacing Moncreif with an old Otha Foster who wasn't even playing last year. There were much better options out there..and likely cheaper..SAME WITH marshall and purifoy..decent guys but propensity for undisciplined play and nowhere they type of guys you want as a locker room leader They also lost several key ST Canadians, havn't addressed the shallow O-line and with not many picks in this years draft will be hard pressed to fill the cupboard...Maybe they sitting on cash hoping to get some value signings of guys right ow feeling the SMS pinch but I doubt it...for some odd reason the management is truly happy with their roster...good teams don't just sit idle and not try to improve

yes...hence my mentioning of polo tics and the draft stigma...an undrafted guy..especially from Div II/III schools will always get cut and not PR before any drafy pick...or veteran free agent signee...thats just how it goes there...and a lot of times that player never gets a legit shot -
tho this is the walker thread I will give this one more reply...The Riders had many key guys unsigned as well...no oline as well..no d-tackle...no cdn depth..pretty much all their main ST guys...no National receiever thats proven..and resigned a defensive backfield that couldn't get it done...hardly a reason to be ranked 1st..plus had Soli still unsigned so big question there...and lost their best defender in Moncreif...hence DT'S new found buffoonery...and losing any credibility he arrived there with Irving ahs been very critical of the Bombers...someting no Rider shill can be...or you see what happens...buh bye Now back to Walker...expect his decision Monday

agreed...enough of the **** wagging

Abou talks out of both sides of his yapper..Taylor used to be credible but as the months tick by he's turning into another Penison...His pre-season rankings lately just confirm it even more

Lemon didnt sign there tho -
pea brains...that made me chuckle

which either way is a team friendly deal...and one in which all likely hood he doesnt make bonus wise, but if he does...we will be a better team for it and have a lower end qb cap hit

the pass was surely talked about there...he was open...etc..etc..to the point they had a thread that posts should be moved to back of endzone...totally slipping the average grade 10 education level there that a 20 yard field goal now becomes a 40 yarder

players fall through cracks...politics...draft pick alway kept over a free agent signee even if not as good...lots goes on down there that affects things, and not always the right thing either -
Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL

what a stupid baseless tweet... those ratings..as with every other attempt will wane as the year moves forward and get lost behind NBA..NHL playoffs...MLB start-up...among other things..always has..always will and when Ol Vinvce see's hes most likely lost more than he had hoped by end of first year...he will pull pins as a major loss in year one will not result in major up tick in subsequent years it will just go down as another stain in the under-pants of the U.S sports scene -
haha...well obviously...I sure you are an avid over zealous poster there, and know what my posts are like...rarely talk smack unless it's presented at me first..On RF.com if a post is anywhere positive about a rival team, goes against Rider ideals, or challenges baseless delusional posts...you are either a) banned b) ridiculed and banned c) subject to name calling and childish remarks..and banning usually follows if you bark back...plain and simple
-
ok boss...yup they are nothing anyway shape or form an act of assumed trolling...and a lot of times are in response to a post referencing me...so if people don't want a response..they should keep my name out of their 3 toothed mouths?..no?
-
kinda encompasses what RF.com is though...no...At least feel good that your posts don't get mysteriously deleted here tho...mine seem to over there...or if they are allowed to stay, usually are met with childish remarks...name calling...the usual juvenile b.s
-
AND probably why the delay so far...probably going over creative ways to get the most $$ possible for this yr and allow a team to not have to blow it's roster up That being said...Bombers should offer 240k...and worry about it when camp breaks...never know who goes down during camp so you could have a big salary on a 6 game...several on a 6 game...or if not then you look at roster and orchestrate a trade if need be for future assets, in our case pretty much everywhere now we have in-house depth to cover it, and have been recruiting much better
-
his signing tho too may be dependamt on where..what Walker gets...teams are most likey waiting to see where his salary falls then Rhymes probably signs shortly after The big winner in this, and in effect loser is Daniels/T.O...Especially if walker signs for 200k...or even less which would be crazy...as T.O basically effed themselves paying more money for a lesser talent..one with injury issues to boot

Interesting to hear that part of Collaro's salary and if he hits all his bonus money is deferred into 2021...so not on this year's cap. So money most likely is there for a big ticket receiver, as well as Kongbo making about 100k last year also off the books. So obviously there is more in the pot then people like to think...

Alexander just missed a pick in that drive, and I believe Jones did too...same with the apperent strip sack...they got lucky there as well..and yes like most of the year, lady luck shone down on them quite a bit, I doubt it happens 3 years in a row now
-
That last drive we should have picked it off 3 times...if anyone was lucky it was the riders even getting to the last play And we had a db about to jump it anyway if it didnt hit post..not to mention 2 others right there
-
nope....i highly doubt they been offered less than this XFL salary structure Average salary: $55,000 Bi-weekly paycheck: $2,080 Activation fee: $1,685 Victory bonus: $2,222
-
Aging ones though..all over 31, but still not ideal. The thing tho the XFL salary structure isn't gonna rob the CFL of stars in their prime, but moreso the aging vets feeling the squeeze...but if revenue increases the cap like the CFL 2.0 is supposed to, then the guys now feeling the pinch will have more money available for them
