this right there...sounds like a lazy guy...and not committed...hard pass by me...for a multitude of reasons...also the Sask dline feasted early in the yr on some horrible opponents...inflated stats at best, and bulk of their sacks came in first 4..6 games....look at when Robertson came back...didnt change a thing...and would barely have had Lanier got his butt in shape dedicated guys in the pro...and NCAA tho who get limited reps...and are fringe guys do tons of extra work on conditioning...after practice...and on own time to be ready...as the window and shot is short and fleeting...or can come at a 4 hour notice...he just seems lazy...ZC tho was a proven entity...and the rralization he was finally healthy.....made that decision a slam dunk

and not 27 yr old receivers...who was already passed on....our gain, and he can forge a nice career up here and make more than decent money doing so...he barring injury has a good solid 5...6 yrs in him here and being a main fixture

If Schoen signs down south.....Lawler is a lock here...If Schoen is back, on his current deal...or a restructured extended deal...which is likely as his NFL window would effectively be closed now....I still think Lawler is a very likely landing spot...especially if you toss away Ellingson and Bailey's combined total of around 260/270k....You have Schoen..Lawler..Woli and Demski making decent money and an Agodusi/Heiligh or some other possible rookie stud filling in the 5th slot at entry level $$....the metrics work

which I find odd...as several I talked to...players said he was a dirty p.os...tho he smartened up a bit after the Marion exile....maybe they did some more talking to him to see if he has become more of a pro...but as a decent but not game changing guy in the middle....he should be at most...200k....over pay any way you slice it...if any other team offered him that...I'd say the same....bet he plays 12 games tops for that cash

Pefect value for Demski...he got fair value he was happy with and didnt hold team over barrel like some other former home town guy...that average of 190k means he likely around 170..180k for this yr...which gives us some nice wiggle room for a big splash with someone...I almost think Lawler is here with or with out Schoen...who I believe will also be back....our ability to retain guys for less than market value, but on fair deals they ahppy with to be part of this squad is huge...the players here know it as they play for each other, and do what is needed for overall team success...not just personal glory and lining of pocket I'm betting it prob 185K tops this year...10K bump each of next 2....

I'd say Bailey is the only one who would be a loss...for a multitude of reasons...and his team first mentality and intensity.....that being said....if he was swapped out for a Lewis...Lawler....casualty of war, and he will still be one my fav non Bombers in the league I expect/suspect Walters is gonna make one big splash to wow the league, and another savvy other move to go to camp with this super solid core, and new recruits

nope....Oday just showing how clueless he is, and where he needs to focus immediately, and with all he's got....they don't address this area with even 1 big fish this yr...just puts them another year delayed in the process of getting out of that craptacular situation...tho...prob wont be his concern in 2024 as he will have been turfed by then....just a lousy GM who cant see the issues, nor can evaluate talent as I am almost certain they think their guys are actually good.....Looking at their roster last yr, and what they have this yr to date...I don't see a single guy who would have started anywhere else last yr, and be hard pressed to even see a 6th olineman for any other team....let alone starting elsewhere this yr...what a mess....

Johnson had a solid yr last yr...and I wouldn't be opposed to a stop gap with him this yr...with the Jeff's off the edge..it be a nice combo in my opinion

Bailey and Ellingson money will cover that...Demski and Woli are locked in...Agudosi surely gets a spot...and he is a tenacious dude and loves to do what Bailey does...and on teams too...was a real positive thing about him in NFL camps...just never got the right situ to stick...we also have BOLO who is only gonna improve and has huge upside....and dont sleep on Heilhigh...real sleeper break out guy in making...shocked he was let go from NFL camps...and not just my opinion but of others down south...So if Schoen is back, and even on a restructured deal....we be Aight without Bailey and Ellingson.....a starting group with Lawler..Demski...Woli..Schoen and Agudosi with Bolo..Grant...Heiligh all possibly on roster...behind that oline with Brady O tenderizing the meat, and ZC doing his thing is gonna give teams fits....like who do u cover or double team and not get roasted by someone else? I never doubted it...Demski is a different personality than Harris, and less of for a lack of a better word baby when it comes to certain things...and is more of a FIFO guy than Harris...he gace us some good yrs...helped us get the monkey off our backs, but he also wasnt as FIFO as many are led to believe...and thats from inside the locker room...not just speculation yeah I think even last yr was touch and go if he was gonna continue

so as it stands right now...we have Drab, Rose, Nichols, Alexander, Lawrence, Houston and Parker all signed for 2023...I guess you can lump i Holm there too, but he wont crack the lineup with those guys there as our DB pool going into camp with the new recruits and any free agent we may sign...which I think is none now...and we focus on 1 legit big ticket receiver now...and a DT with some presence and pedigree.....with Biggy and Wilson healthy going into camp....the Jeffs signed...Hansen will also be ready for camp as the rotation guy....and I expect more from Lawson who was more than adequate cutting his teeth this past year....this defense I can see doing 2021 things again...without a doubt...and they gonna be hungry cause they all been stewwing too long already about how 2022 ended

Indunno...200k for any top flight receiver regardless of nationality in my opinion is or should be top money benchmark...over 200k is getting stupid..and restricts you at a position where if you have good scouting should be easy filled...and if he is your best highest paying guy..and gets dinged for any short periods...likely your Canadian backup is sub par There are tons of Gittens types down south for a third of that cost...likely better and would take less time to develop...paying your Canadian lineman..those big bucks...but specialty players like reciever and even RB to an extent is dumb...

U agree as well...and I actually see him more explosive in the run aspect of that role ..can we flip ration somewhere to accomodate that..or does he just sub in somehow...want Demski back...but if it comes to be way too much money to limit us elsewhere...we will survive...we did just fine last 2 yrs when he was injured if u recall..could be 200k spent elsewhere to really solidify some spots Dunbar tho if we let Bailey go would be my choice ..I see him flourishing with ZC and this locker room Big signing on Grant ..and no reason he can't get more touches in a hybrid role McRae also ran hard...took some big hits...and did just fine...expanded role...more touches...no reason he won't produce...he is an explosive runner and that was his rep in draft analysis...he's fluid and sees the field extremely well...we don't need to rely on one guy doing it all...so that's where we have a good edge in who we put on field
