  1. Guess will be a Schoen watch today?...no deal signed window is closed?...I expected him back all along, so don't see an 11th hour deal for him down south
  2. yes...and no...If they cant find a suitable trade...then he stays there for what he agreed to, and if he doesnt like it he can sit out and get nothing...or accept the raise they offered...BC holds all the power, and cards here...not Push-off Rhymes
  3. You give him about 10-15k less than what Bailey made last yr and if he continues with the torrid numbers....then for 2024 he gets a nice bump
  4. so Rhymes wants a trade now because he doesnt like that other receivers got big money, and didnt like BC's increase they offered....hmmmmm....wonder who else is gonna whine now
  5. Houston is in yr 3 here now...doubt he on a rookie deal...that being said tho I sure it's very economical for us
  6. Hey...they stole Lofton tho hahah...even one of their "stalwarts" Vaughn left..lol...and sounds like will be without Mr CFL...I mean Clark too...what a fine mess...The rest that are still available now are not Allstars...or even top end guys...good luck sucka's
  7. Another good online guy off board...Sask gonna have to sift thru the also rans...again...looks good on them
  8. Yeah he would have to stay on it..as it's a signed contract ..but I expect a restructure and extension...not huge money this yr but if he continues the success 2024 will be significantly higher
  9. Only way they can retain....over pay...and will be same to attract new...too funny
  10. this....can e a DI or a non starting import....you just switch one of the nationalized guys on offence....or defense ...whatever side of the ball the injury took place to a National to maintain your ratio....you still need to have the ratio maintained as to how you are going to use your nationals you as listed before the game...how many on offence and defense tho. I like the rule...rewards teams for continuity, and improves the quality of the game
  11. I like this alternative much better to be honest
  12. was gonna say I wouldnt be surprised if we took a run at Boatang
  13. Yup....Bombers been in touch with Eli all yr and knew he was coming back, and also know what they have there....so I think that when they saw last yr that they did just fine with a journey man replacement that Couture and his higher salary would be better used on a different position, and that Eli would be an upgrade over both centers last yr, and allow us to land a Lawler and whomever in FA....Have a sneaky feeling we targeting a DT aggresively, a stop gap one, and won't have to overpay to get them either
  14. dont think any high profile...even medium profile guy is considering it unless they back the truck up, and even then will prob be only a 1 yr deal....and prices they have paid so far for some their own, and wWieneke is proof positive of that already
  15. Respect people opinions....but cmon dude....really?....prob is buds with him...and he did an adequate job wedged between a crew of all-stars...31 yr old journey man...who only got a starting gig due to injury finally...versus a just turned 27 yr old road grader..top 3 rated center in the NCAA who destroyed guys here in his first tour...and has huge upside still....I'll have some what he smoking please
  16. and another swing and miss by the Criders...gotta love it...they signed some of their garbage...one of our cast offs and Wieneke....who may have been a flash in pan, but if anything even with a decent yr isn't the guy thats bringing them to the promised land....and oh yeah...still no o-line and heaven forbid...NO DAN CLARK!!!!!
  17. one off the board for Potential Rider O-line make-over....will be the likes of the Lofton's and such as opposed to the Chunghs...Coutures...etc
  18. The Faj is mentally fragile...I almost sense not the sharpest knife in the drawer as well based on some of his comments last few yrs...and icing on the cake has limited QB skills...and no upside...the fact the Riders ride that as long as they did is almost laughable ..he was a benefactor of some opportune defence..a good run of luck against teams injured and in flux...and horseshoes ..I'd take almost any other QB in the league as a back up to him...don't need him anywhere near here
  19. I bet we can get the Winnipeg kid from Ham when his rookie deal expire at DE for a nice national rotation piece
  20. serious?? he had some nice impact plays last yr....more 1st team reps and practice...will give us more than Sayles in my opinion..bigger body and more bullish
  21. Williams asked for it to be closer to home and for some business reasons/interests he has going on out east
  22. would have liked to keep Sayles for rotation...as he proved that he can rotate inside and off edge last yr, but 200k per doesn't work here, and we can get same kinda production, with better upside cheaper...happy for him to get paid...he has worked hard last 2 yrs to earn it...but you cant keep everyone
  23. doubt it...not even a remote chance of that...doing that would piss of the vets more than a persons religious beliefs in not getting it
