oh I agree....but we beat a weeak and poorly coached weak sister...then got schooled by a really well coached team....and this yr looked really bad in doing so.....we aint no lock without some serious tweaks and changes...and especially if Osh continues Oshin'....reg seson wins mean jack....so they yeah buts about the record before the game that matters most is moot...and doesnt need to be mentioned....as it meant diddly 3 yrs running we have seen first hand a good team...put in a positio to win with top players who arent over the hill can win a cup without hosting a Final...and even not even hosting a game

Ambles and BOLO would have offered more than Demski..Bailey and Schoen in that game as for nothing but the fact that they could actually run with authority and garner attention....any discussion that replacing 2 of them with healthy bodies wouldnt have made huge difference is just a flat out idiot......or an Osh nad licker...or both Once MTL realized they were basically ineffective and could give a huge cushion and basically ignore, to more or less neutralize B.O and Lawler and know ZC would start to force things was the game right there.....it was a close one score game .....so imagine a couple of guys in lineup who could have made plays.....and points we didnt get..... Blink gave 100 percent efffort on every snap and his fast twitch muscle was insane....like mentioned could stop/cut/change direction on a dime and be top speed in 3 strides...wasn't overly fast, but his acceleration allowed him to create distance immediately Also for a small fry who avoided the gym like the plague he was insanely strong and didnt matter...bigger guy...small agile guy he could juke em....run em over....or jusy power thru a mass of bodies....never went down on first contact definately a generational talent and if he came along in the mid to late 2000's...with training and expertise available now...and took advantage of it....man what could have been

Nahhh.....expect Lawler 1 yr deal confirmed somewhere before Free Agency opens....Mitchell and Lawler will be a nice combo while we allow time for Schoen to rehab fully yeah...Non-Priorities like Gauthier and Wilson...and pointless signing of Thomas is gonna screw us in re-signing some of our younger guys with even more upside and yrs of service ahead of them....unless we plan to disregard the salary cap we aregonna have to replace some with likely less upside....probably not as good potentially and for minimal savings We got a boatload tied up in a minimal amount of guys and have probably now the most expensive secondary now which should be your lower teir price point group and save for Nichols only one real elite guy...thats not good...especially when we havnt solved linebacker and right now only have Gauthie, Jones and Wilson ....2 of whom are really average at best...and who knows what Wilson we get

We've now got way too.much money tied into a positional group that should really be your cheapest...add Thomas into that mix and somebody is gonna face the "sorry we can't pay you " talk...which sucks as it's likely Dobson and or Ford...or both Not really...he not even gonna be ready to open season so why allocate anything now...good chance nobody will until spring to see where he at Cole will add way more value...versatility...and youth at a nice chunk of change less than Biggie...

I am 100 percent certain Biggie wont be ready until at least Labour Day at earliest...so realy that alone should take him out of the discussion...and if we lockhim up and allot money to him.....Osh and Walters should be shot...as thats just stupidity

we dont need to sign another canadian dlineman tho...we already had 3 under contract...aswell as a global....likely draft one at minimum....and again no need really to have to always have one on the field...so that signing at over 100k easily....prob closer to 120...130....is a big why? I'm ok with vets Bryant and Neuf back...they have a lot of value yet and were effective when healthy.... Dont know what money Jake got, but whatever it was plus a lil more would allow us to easily keep Dobson...and that oline continuity, but if we say 50...60k waya from keeping Dobson cause we signed Jake....is that smart allocating of money, especially when I am quite sure that once free agency was open there would be no mad rush to sign him for big bucks...sign priority guys...and possible free agent upgrades...then when you see what you have left offer him something and if it's not to his liking.....move on...he is not a need let alone a priority signing whatever his salary is, could been put to one of Dobson...Lawler...Schoen...Cole...I'd have signed Nick Taylor even before Jake as he has value in multiple positions....as well as teams...can even return in a pinch and athleticism...
