  1. they should show Osh face on the sideline near end of last 3 with that smuggy look of buffudlement and disbelief on his mug his plan didn't pan out....those are all blooper worthy
  2. WJ...Neufeld are the vocal leaders....the round the guys up and get em locked in and psyched....I'd say Biggie too but not factoring him into 2025 Brady is becoming that, but he working to be more of what Stanley is...He's the true leader and does it by example...lets the other guys rally the troops but when he speaks...or see's a reason to......Everyone sits up and takes it in......Brady is becoming that and will be the successor FIFO isnt a new thing, or created here...it was a mindset brought forth by some players who became Bombers and it flourished....Osh wasn't the scientist who created it, he was the benefactor to it and allowed it to evolve, but maybe a bit too much. We will bring back the required vets to maintain our standard of the way we do things....and the way we do things also emanates from the assistant coaches and training staff......so we will be fine regardles...especially if we shift gears a bit and bring in the best guys we can find.....and actually play them and allow some to develop on the fly....we need to get our edge back and just standing pat..status quo won't get it back Nope.....he's the O,G leader.....if he stands up to say something...and you dont pay attention....his lieutenants will make sure you hear about it
  3. exactly....we dont bring them in.......they have to fit the Osh requirement We should stop just stocking the room with all these high moral compass/character/easy going...whatever you wanna call it player and rely on them to police and set the tone/environment....even if some are not the best available...and actually bring in the best players available to us (outside that overated CB who played for the Riders recently...and the likes of) and then actually coach them up a bit....play the heavy when need be.... and staple an arse to the bench when required.... yeah....for a lack of a better explanation he is justa whiny lil biatch....and seems like a me first guy too in a way.....dont need or want that here
  4. pretty much every professional room has a fit in or fly away mantra....they just dont ballyhoo it But we turn away talent that would help us because it isnt what Osh envisions as the ultimate player on and off the field.......If the room is good, and you have enough quality vets.....you can easily roster some guys who aren't these saints thru and thru....As much as people claim FIFO is the reason for success....it also is a bit of a hand-cuff when you dont allow your roster to balance out a bit....I want a roster of winners.....not a collective group of good guys I am sure thre are a lot of giys who could have came in and helped out this team but didnt "fit" Osh requirements....just because you dont see them.....doesnt mean it's not true....we dont bring them in....and I sure it's some instances of free agency too where we dont evn kick a tire
  5. Masoli ruptured his achilles his frst game back from his knee injury from what I recal....so unless he played a substantial number of games in some other league getting ready, then not sure what you talking about every other game
  6. ummmm....they played us....with MBT...Kelley was the back up who didnt play....so yeah they were
  7. he's had 2 reconstructive surgeries...again...One from a blatant cheap shot intent to take him out....the other a non contact....hence the minimal games....sure he was hurt. but not like he was getting hurt every other game ZC was and prob is more glass than anyone....and the last couple yrs he been getting smacked around a bit...and his performance has shown And to be honest I'd take MBT over both of them right now to actually be my starter for 2025...With a running game like we have....and if we have our full compliment of receivers....I bet he's lead the league in passing
  8. Masoli got the utter cheap shot to take him out initially....then a fluke bad luck injury.....as a number 2 to hold you over if your starter goes down for a few games...surrounded with a good cast will win you more than you lose....and you keep developing Wilson as the Jumbo package guy, and if smart give him other plays/packages to run throughout the yr to further bring him along
  9. Kinda where we been with ZC too tho....been lucky especially in the first 2 yrs that he didnt get rocked as he prob been finished...he's a had a few pretty insignificant ones the last couple yrs that seemed to really mess him up where another QB prob just shrugged t off....since he got hurt in dm he hasnt been anywhere near the same he was from 2019 to late 2022 yup...like i mentioned in a previous post...some this FIFO crap and adding guys to fit what HC/Management wanna see has hindered us as much as benefitted. If you have a strong locke room and by all accounts we do...with enough true leaders and guys who are respected....any guy brought in will fall in line, be it the room and vets pointing him the right way and they actually see the benefits of the right aattidue....or they will be gone...we need more nasty...edgy and guys who play at the edge but know enough to rarely step over....thats where we lacking...to many nice gys and too many guys too comfortable.....Like they say...Nice guys finish last.....and in our case Nice guys cant finish the deal....as the true translation of it is People who are decent, friendly, and agreeable tend to be unsuccessful because they are outmaneuvered or overwhelmed by others who are not so decent Pretty much us in a nutshell of late in last 3 cup losses
  10. I can see it if you are in a good spot...actually on a PR....With work in practice as prep tp possible playing...but bouncing from work out...to workout....for the hope of maybe getting a week or 5 on a PR...all the while not getting paid....whats the point? YOu get paid if you on a PR for that week leading up to game day.....there is no compensation going to work outs and waiting for that "call" Kyrie would be the ideal DA guy ala what Cole....Ayers were Thomas....whats the point?...He has no upside...only more degradation....eats up valuable SMS resources...well above the league minimum and even with limited reps...are just wasted reps.....Blocks developing a younger guy...Samson...or a new draft pick....With Lawson back he more than covers a National DT to be used in rotation....Guy will actually be impactful. he was impactful and if it's not an actual ratio requirement a below adequate back-up usnt required and that National roster spot would be better served with a national receiver/db/hybrid LB type to strengthen overall roster depth....better yet a National punter so we can pooch Punter guy and use that spot on Karamoko or Ogbveon....or if we rustke up a decent global interior dlineman...they are out there...but sadly Osh is gonna Osh and likely we hear Thomas and Bighill re-ups before Jan....which is nauseating to even consider yup...as a depth/package specific guy he would be ideal...and a good back-up as we integrate his replacement....and he definitely does get everyone in the right spots on defence....Would/will make an excellent coach too, so to start that transition there as well would be a smart move safety....SAM...hybrid jack/edge guy....any of the 3
  11. It's almost as bad if not worse a meat grinder than the NFL with little regard for anyone...other than $$ Seen a lot of bad stuff...unethical.....at the expense of the athlete yup....I would change a few things...and a lot is changing with the training now and post education prep...thankfully
  12. you just shut it....for the love of god....hahahah
  13. how I look at it is that this crap he spews about they all here cause they are starter caliber...and because they give us a chance to win ...they here in the building for a reason.....is something he doesnt even believe in himself....as he shows he rarely lets a guy get a chance to play unless someone has had a limb fall off....ZC finger almost fell off....but just wasn't enough So if he doesn't even believe it...why should fans?? exactly this....when guys are given the chance to play they can do great things....goes for the second and third stringers too...no?....and if they have no faith in them doing something great...why they on the roster??....Contradicts his previous statements that they all here cause they give us a chance to win...so why wont you play the healthy guys over an injured..... argos also let their best players play....and will yank a gy for sucking...even if it rufffles said guy's sucking feathers...as we have seen with some squabbling on their sidelines...that being said....it has allowed them to win the 2 cups theyhave been in recently.....maybe after being taught 2 straight lessons from them, maybe we took some notes???
  14. gee....when you look at it like that...and that high turnover ratio to the good....you would think that yeah they would have been like 12 and 6...or better....losers
  15. any dlineman not named Schmeckle/Thomas for one....and really...Kramdi played well...but is more effective in the box...not so much in open space or in coverage...could easily have used Griffin...Cole there fulltime and had Kramdi as a super sub....rotating freely as we had Ford at corner.
  16. thing is...you can start 2 other guys who are better than the Canadians...and if you cant find any...theres a big problem in your scouting and recruiting
  17. we had to at DB and for a certain extent receiver.....but Dline...LB....We just ignore the fact we are weak and sub par because Osh has his fav's....his perception the guys are top rate.....and thats that.....until his mind set changes somewhat...it will be yr after yr of 2..3 questionable guys rostered....excessive use of additional Cdn's even when not needed and not the best option and long in the tooth vets...who server next to no purpose anymore other than blocking/developing new blood....just something we gonna have to deal with as long as he is here....sure we had success in 2 cup wins....put together a couple of all-time great reg. season records....but that was when the top line talent was still top line and best in the league...3....yrs ago now....we don't have that anymore and didn't properly re-stock the cupboard....and in the instances where we added a body or two it was out of necessity (season ending injury/guys leaving) not because we chose to go with the younger...better guy with upside. Flame away about my take on it all you want...some of you will as history has shown but we have not managed our roster nor put any forward thinking/progression plan in place for the most part....Hopefully last yr was the start of it and it continues this winter with not re-signing some guys...and going after some legit free-agent guys...even if they have an edge and are a bit nasty....the culture in the room will take care of itself and guys will fall in line....we dont need 46 choir boys
  18. sometimes we value certain things way too much over actual talent and ability.....can't be denied....and should be nipped in the bud now after 3 consecutive yrs of failing....
  19. Wonder if he gonna waste another yr in 2025 like he did in 2023...waiting...not earning a penny...if he doesn't make a roster out of camp He gonna be 27 going into next season..would project as a project at best most likely...can't see a team investing much time or money into him especially when there are tons of guys just like him churned out of NCAA ball...younger...and have played u.s ball since 5 yrs old.
  20. And how did they do?
  21. I think we had looked at him and was on our radar but he was their neg list....so we just watched and waited bOLD....but bad move in my opinion...just keeps them further behind in the transition....but looks good on them...Keep it up Oday!
  22. for sure...seeing value and upside in guys where other teams didn't is also key....you have to remember some teams have eyes on guys that are on other teams heg list....or were signed before they got the chance...so when they get cut lose.....they get brought in If you are not scouting the other teams and watching their moves for the chance to steal a guy...you not doing your job
  23. sign him up....I bet he would be a good mentor to Wilson too....He's more the type of QB Wilson is as to what Buck was....so that wouldn't hurt either. And I bet he be good for Strev too.
  24. Nope..this is true...but you can throw out some aging vets...and lack luster others who have been there for the 3 straight losses, as obviously they aren't getting it done... for new...fresh....inspired blood....because the intelligent person can't think that in attempt number 4...being one yr older...1 more step slower...some guys probably 2....and one more additional yr removed from being productive that this time they gonna do it........that's something you can do to the bath water. You can also maybe change how you fill that tub too,,,schematic and philosophy wise a bit ....evolve some would call it....thats what you can do.....and it's easy to do it if you flip your mindset a bit....and coming from being there before...an older player knowing that a younger...and many times more athletic player is on your ass...and can take your job at any moment brings out a lil more fire and squeezes out the last couple drops of juice outta that guy....which also is a net positive.....can't coast and feel safe that you are a lock....just because....too many instances of guys the last 3 yrs being too comfortable and not having that extra something something....
