  1. and we should help in driving it up too....I figured he may have wanted to go back home to MTL and they would be a suiter for nim...still could be too I guess but then may need to drop salary of another reciever there...I'd go hard at Mack if he is a FA or woud become a casualty of a Emilus signing
  2. yeah...we need to scrap the rigid ratio constraints...the rigid scheme based on...I not even sure these days and allow the best players to actually compete for jobs....and then select you best 24 where you have actual adequate back-up...the key part and then determine the ratio and who makes best sense scheme wise to suit their, and the units best ability Not this pre-determined Player X is the starter regardless of injury in camp or outperformed...Position A is a Canadian position regardless if we have better options with an Import....playing sub par guys (Can or American) cause they were loyal foot soldiers in yrs gone past, or just tickle Osh's fancy.... That in a nutshell is what we have done for half a decade now....time to switch things up
  3. pay the best you got to win....maybe we should take note
  4. I truly am scared to see who our pre-january extensions are gonna be...it will definitely set the tone and narrative as to what 2026 is gonna look like Sure be a shame to right out of the gate deflate any and all hope of change and moving on from our garbage players/coaches
  5. 150k salary...rotational/situational leadership role id be fine with He still has juice and value..but has to be in a platoon role type thing...and used to best capitalize his skill We need to prioritize a couple legit inside presence guys who possess multiple technique...and the ends will look substantially better...and we need to abolish and go as far away as we can with the loyalty and favoritism plan of having guys inside who are for lack of better word...useless 95% of their snaps...
  6. I think the 2026 scheme should be predominant 4 man...Modified 3 man with a Jack....And also believe WJ has a lot of gas in tank and should be used as the rotational 55% rep end and allowed to just cut loose, with the other 3 "best" options at DE....Preferably 2 imports and Bailey the Global or a Canuck we can land via FA's or draft...Allows us to designate another import to DT and have 2 legit ball busters inside alomg with Lawson....Do that with 7 bodies who can play, and the secondary, almost regardless of who we employ get better...significantly...same with LB's As I mentioned in another post while discussing dline with Gavin Walls he even said what he saw...and would have hated to do, was that we used our ends a lot...primarily WJ in a contain role and not as an attack end...and you could see a lot of times it was a take 2..3 steps...jab down and hold back and become a volleyball player at the net...and more often than not it looked like plays were being taking off...as basically we schemed him out of plays ourselves....or was flat footed alot and having to attack/pursue from a dead stop...pointless and stupid...and a waste quarter of a quarter...the 1st quarter
  7. yup....time for us to be greasy too....the nice guy facade is overdone and not benefiting us
  8. time to tamper and in the back channels and let a number or 2 accidently slip out....lol
  9. Hopefully....and if true yup a good sign.....I'll wait for the actual announcement that we moved on tho before I applaud anything...lol
  10. they also said were talking to guys last yr too....and how that turn out for us.... that waiting and actually saying it wasnt an urgent thing early on...affected a lot....and cant happen again
  11. is early....but still...teams who wanna make an impact will make moves and not ***** foot around....Ottawa being a good example...they were in lala land and realized they need to change...and got er done as fast as you could...Thats how you get the best of the best No rule or law saying you need to wait X amount of time....and not unprofessional either to cut guys loose as early as u can.....and creep other teams coaching talent...snooze...u lose...we been snoozing on many fronts and losing as well....we didnt do that 2018-2021....Got fat and sassy...almost arrogant and just figured people would glom over to us....give us discounts....didnt need to be urgent in negotiations...and look where it got us Part of this new "change" and having to be "better" also is really relevant to how we operate....That needs to change more than anything...loyalty only gets you so far...for so long and clinging to it....always leads to your demise....its pro sports...cut throat and unforgiving business....it's what you signed up for and if you have a fragile ego or get butt hurt for being called out...or sent packing....u in the wrong business
  12. he should have a sense of urgency and be proactive with full court push....or be relagated to settling from withim...again...or looking at the scraps....Hopefully he learned his lesson I truly think JJ was the guy...but whatever circumstance delayed his arrival made them in meantime bump up OC guy...and when he got here would take over the role....but Osh re-nagged on that...and we saw the discombobulation all yr...unhappy players...confusion....and JJ himself looking a bit irritated and put off a bit most the yr
  13. Hutchings would be the dream get...I'd back up a truckload of cash for him....make Cgy anti up to keep him...and if they dont...major win for us
  14. yeah...prior to that for a good while we were a joke...but we have a solid foundation and way we operate now...so would take a supreme blunder and hires of epic lunacy to destroy that now
  15. Shitty Jake is just sad to watch..and makes others have to work harder and be less impactful Shittier kolo effects whole offence pretty much and when others have to work harder it at times takes them away also from their actual responsibilities...so a huge ripple effect...not to mention the QB needing to constantly keep one eye up the middle and not getting to see and read the whole field...a bad center...is the one position you don't want your worst slug
  16. He's the poster boy for one of Osh's biggest flaws And sadly....he is not the only example of it...for several yrs....and that mindset of his...or his opinion ...and it's pretty much just his and as the HC he can do what he wants...needs to change in a big way
  17. Leroux we talking bout..tho not technically a olineman..but still...lol
  18. Yup ...don't let challenges limit your life...make your life challenge those perceived limits..thats how I roll...and what I preach
  19. Cool name..lotsa letters..lol Kinda has that Hassan Arbubakrr vibe to it..damn good dline guy too BTW.. we could use a guy like him again
  20. Dude needs to bulk up..looks like a 14 yr old tennis player...and could break in half if ever hammered by someone
  21. Yeah....I agree...I said befoe that I figured both ZC and Strev deserved a chance if anything in camp to show what they have in TC with a legit coordinator, legit weapons and a lil better line...Tho Strev is now out of the equation still the same sentiment...That clown really hamstrung us Jackson also I agree...seemed a bit odd...Was he originally gonna be the actual OC but due to his personal matters and being late tocamp they bunped dimbbum up to the position, and didnt really convey to Jackson that it was just while he was away?....another communication blunder?...possible, and if so, rightfully understandable Jackson was a bit put off by it...especially as we watched what transpired as the yr rolled on... I hope he back in some capacity and new yr...fresh start...hopefully fresh vision here....we don't see regression but actual back to 1st dominance...as we not that far off from it....but we also not that far off from a sliiiiiide into the bowels of the West...if not the whole league...
  22. i was talking about Jackson...not OC Guy...and I willing to pro-bona JT him like mentioned earlier this summer hahahaha.....
  23. for the league to sponsor 1 beat reporter per team to the Grey Cup...would be a mere pittance and drop in the hat They should actually do that regardless if not for a major publication, but young up and coming reporters in each city to get a chance to promote both themselves and the league....yearly. I sure money is not an issue, and really if they approached some corporate businesses and said we looking to do a program as such, would you like to be a part of it and inject some funds...win win all around...positive exposure for all involved and a tax write of for the Company being part of it The legue has failed on several areas in the 2020's to promote and get exposure with the archaic buffoon's who are running things....They need fresh thinkers and new minds that know what the current landscapes are
  24. Corcorran if we do our job right with who we have...who we can get...who we may draft shouldn't even see the roster....he shouldn't have last yr Peterson is not ready for prime time ...yet...and not sure he can be a back to slug it out for 15 to 20 carries a game...I'd prefer to see MCI get carries and groomed/developed to be a substantial piece...You cant teach speed/power and athleticism...but you can vision...blocking...scheme....and he just needs reps to do it
  25. well...Demski misses too....and plays hurt often....and is at top of his game now...and is likely only downhill from here,...was hurt or playing hurt in what..3 of last 4 playoffs?...Philpot is also younger...still has upside....and injuries are basically random....they happen so shouldnt be a factor in signing a guy really BO as well...has missed games several seasons now...and if he goes down...the drop off with a Canadian back is significant as hus replacement...plus he no spring chicken either, and his style isnt a style conducive to a long career...we already seen last 2 seasons he has been hurt...and played hir...so if that argument can be made for Philpot...can be made for BO and Demski too....no? Philpot is gonna turn 26 next season, Demski will already be 32...BO turns 29....Thats how you turn roster over on the fly without wholesale changes....you have an opportunity to bring in a younger guys for succesion who can contribute now, and in a big way to augment an already here vet....you do it....not ignore it and just ride guys into the dirt and then when injuries occur/guys age out and decline....eyc....you have no answer/replacement for it...thats what got us in the mess we in the last 2..3 yrs
