I'd argue that for a tackle foot speed and arm length are more important.

I would say checking the website and calling the office and in both cases being told he did not have the winning ticket was sufficient on the part of the winner.  How many times do you check your lotto ticket numbers?  I scan them and when it says I didnt win, I throw it away.  I dont keep checking repeatedly in case there is a mistake.
 
The Bombers should have absolutely informed the public there had been an error so anyone who might have checked their ticket, should check it again.  Bombers pretty clearly hoped no one would notice and the public would be non the wiser.

The standard for lotteries is high, and rightfully so given how easy it would be for some shenanigans to happen to benefit an individual or the Football Club.
 
This one defies even common sense.  Given the amount of media the Bombers do, and people they have working on just that, they couldn't announce on CJOB, on their website etc that they goofed up typing the number on the website and the correct number was now up?  The sneaky stuff is what will do them in, not the mistake.

He was the most qualified and experienced guy available. The rest were/are unknowns and lacking experience.
 
Heck..let's give Maas a few more consecutive years of success to say we say he is so great. He came out of know where and truth be told was reaping the rewards of all the guys on his squad having career years together and the fact had zero injuries all year long to affect his offence.
 
And when it came down to it in the playoffs they got pretty much shut down and he had no answers.
 
Lapo has had years now since he was a sole OC and you can be assured he has progressed and learned and knows what didn't work and what does. He has spent the better part of two years now dissecting and analyzing defenses and how offences should attack, and what offensives shouldn't do based on looks. He has come a long way and it is noticeable from what he is saying.
 
He is going to build a very competent attacking offence and the naysayers will be put to rest. He is the best available option and we got aggressive and grabbed him. Well done if you ask me

This all looks like a smoke screen...pumping up Demski so that if some other team really wants him they'll have to trade up to draft him. If the interest is legit and they are considering him at 2, I'd be okay with that as well.

If we want to fix the OL for next season, it won't be through the draft. That's the reality. That's why I say you take the best player available, regardless of position. If we get a Canadian starter at a different position, that could allow us to start an additional American OL and if we recruit properly that could go further towards giving us a better overall OL than any first-year Canadian OL would.

I don't mind when the US players have no sense of the history of the CFL; when they act like it's the NFL's little brother.  Why shouldn't they?  How much time do I spend learning about the history of Peruvian soccer?
 
It's when guys like Pottinger do the "slap in the face" routine that I get bothered.  He grew up here.  He should know.
 
Harris gets it.  Something good has happened to this league.  Not everyone at the factory went in on lottery tickets and now were all rich kind of good.  More like the company landed a big contract and we finally know the plant won't be shutting down.
 
A raise is definitely in order for the guys at the bottom end of the payroll scale, but no player has ever lost money playing on a CFL roster.  Owners have lost money with stunning regularity.
 
I'm amazed that I'm 100% behind the players getting paid more yet with every dumbass comment they make it forces me to advocate for the owners because the owners have no choice but to care about the survival of the league.  Harris is the first player who has said anything remotely close to caring about the CFL's existance.  Give him ALL the money as far as I'm concerned; the rest need a history lesson first.

For reference, in 2012 Edmonton traded the 2nd and 20th overall picks to BC for the 4th, 14th, and 38th overall picks.
 
If we packaged #2 and #20 to BC, the return would likely be #5, #12, and #41.

The automated times start at the first movement the runner makes, be it an arm, a head, etc. Watch some of the NFL combine stuff where they show two runners side by side on split screen, or overlapped. Often times the guy who actually ran faster will have the poorer automated time.
